Actually, no pseudo in task manager, only "History"... The old one worked, yes... I suspect it's a win98 thing again, and just for curiosity clicked on pseudo exe in the tools folder directly, there pops up this error, not sure if its because of the wrong "opening" or perhaps a hint... ("dll not found", actually it's nowhere in KM-folder)

Really like this one Browsing fullscreen without tabs would otherwise be pretty complicated ;-)

Congrats, you made it I wouldn't worry, those skins are meant for customizing, and on your own computer you can certainly play around as much as you want. But you see, this explorer-skin (toolbar icons from 2002) just seems to be an older and outdated previous version of klassic (toolbar icons from 2004, config updated 2008), so it's somehow double work to update it *again*. The

Isn't that this evil KM-cloner guy again? Have read about it somewhere around here... And didnt download it to verify, but looks too much like phoenity skin and looking at the browser name... download.cnet.com/WebSpirit-Internet-Browser/3000-2356_4-10958219.html What makes me sick, he's got just as many downloads last week than KM, GRRR! (Was added two weeks ago on download.com, no

Great Mike. And just in case, no need to search around for Klassic, it's just the older default skin that still comes automatically with KM too, already installed alongside Phoenity

Hi Mike, just compared and this is from the button in 1.5.3 default skin: Go{ %ifplugin macros macros(Go_Selected)|_Go Go to URL. Right-click for more options. %else ID_NAV_GO Go to URL %endif At some point there was a change in the macro system (around KM 1.1?), so it looks like the toolbar.cfg in the explorer skin is a bit outdated. So if you use a current k-meleon version

Oops... Uhm, download worked now Honestly, never had this prob before, always had the impression when I download a link it always takes the current files. But I did play with the cache settings awhile ago, and surfed a bit offline yesterday, oh well... Will have to remember that! So, learned something again Anyway, the updatet function is still a bit weird, now the sidebar gives me the "n

Oh well, after experimenting again with a hotLIST-folder, it seems I had given up a bit too early when trying it before Actually a size of 5x5 mm is about the same size as an icon, and it sure is easier to maintain. E.G. if icons disabled it shows the first character of the name, or two with 7mm, and tooltips show the full name. Just one thing, I can't see any individual icons with that

Both methods have their merits. Perso I just prefer a few tiny icons with indiviual buttons (not all sites have favicons) (ignore attachment, little icons for another thread)

Ah, really a pity. Frankly, I have already 2-4 new toolbars, and slowly it starts getting rather confusing to find specific ones in View-Toolbars ;-) Would it make sense to post this in improvement requests...?

The prob is, I've added a couple new buttons, and a few are for macros. So far it works, but if I post that skin and another user downloads it but doesn't have the same macros, he'll see buttons that don't work. Would be handy to have a way to automatically disable those buttons, for which there's no macro installed, but still show the others...

Uhm, I simply dragged it up there Was really riddling, but after just reading your other post, I'm starting to wonder if perhaps you haven't noticed yet that one can fully customize all buttons and toolbars...? - in View/Toolbars you can hide or show single toolbars - in View/Toolbars/Options you can choose "Enable customizable toolbars" and "Display menu bar a

Another skinning question, although with very little hope: 9) There is no way for something like "%ifmacro xyz" to define a toolbar button, or is it...? Only buttons for plugins seem to work optionally in the toolbar.cfg? Or any trick...?

Hi, I just tested this a bit. The idea sure is good! But must admit, have some suggestions... ;-) First, the default position is really VERY high, it's for one-line-browsers, but if that's really used by a majority of users...? And had some trouble to get access to the options (sort by date or URL or show properties, when right-clicking in history). Finally realized it's visible

QuotejsnjThose options for the favorites ... are specific to the favorites(Links) bar, not the favorites button on the main bar. That button is like any other in toolbars.cfg. It has to be there and uncommented to appear. Okay, that explains it Never use the links bar, so never noticed. Quotecaktus"Tips & Tricks" are scattered though out the wiki's. It would be nice if it w

WHOW - it wasn't really that urgent, but cool anyway, THANX!! Now I can finally click a toolbar button in KM directly and don't need anymore to start siteshoter externally, and the right-click menu works perfectly too That was just my biggest prob, that capplus can't make selections in win98, but siteshoter can automatically open the capturee afterwards in irfanview to crop. And

Man!! I just had this yesterday, when experimenting with my skin/plugins/macros, and thought - aha that's the perp: That devtools macro (old plugin manager), that doesn't work anyway on my 98se... But now I don't manage to reproduce it, even after trying to repeat some other settings too I still suspect it's something in the extensions or a malformed toolbar cfg or some comb

Hey, thanks go to you, you do all the hard work :-) IIRC, capplus "seemed" to work on my 98se, no error (except it can't select a region, but that's normal). Only when looking into the folder, there was no image saved anywhere... Now remember another thing, I wished the default setting were the one with the automatic numbering, so that it doesn't overwrite the previo

LOL! So they use the Erweiterungen quite often already in the Fox-World, introduced term? Didn't know, but for me that would rather be an argument to adopt the same Seriously, I often hate translating, always struggle endlessly with such single words, and NEVER can decide, argh!! ;-)

Erweiterung - in a way, yes, but in plural it's "Erweiterungen", and that alone is already 5 syllables, add to it the manager that makes it a 8 (!!) syllables word, uff... That just sounds (to me) really bumpy... Zusatzmodul is also a very universal word, not restricted to computer stuff. Existed long before, can also be all sorts of hardware, like closet or car "addons"

To sum it up: He wants a "boss hotkey", and this right out of the box A "boss BUTTON" is there already in the privacy bar, but customizing hotkeys isn't so easy.

That seems different on every machine... Mine is ancient, 256 MB, win98se, and Flash etc. is deadly after a short while. But if it's disabled, and for safety reasons I also disable javascript etc., K-Meleon sure needs less resources than Firefox. With KM this thing can open 20-24 (real) windows, even with a photo in the browser bars, before the box starts choking. Okay, ocasionally I hit a

Hey, I see your point, but personally I'd rather not have such a "dangerous" button on some hotkey by default. You may say, it's complicated enough. Perhaps. Hmm, now thinking about it, a safety-question "Are you really sure you want to delete all your history, cookies, etc.??" wouldn't be bad... Although, the people who actually use this, would probably prefer

Quotejsnjno means none. It doesn't say "some". again "any" doesn't mean some. Okay. Persuaded I sure read it closely (or so I thought, oops), but this tiny aspect escaped me *blush* ;-) QuotejsnjAs soon as a couple bugs related to "macro-ized" toolbars & buttons are fixed and available, an easier way to customize toolbars can be implemented t

Difficult to remember without having read it at least once ;-) Lets see, but now it gets more complicated, perhaps there's also new hope to get image placeholders to show...? Never see any :-( Whether images are on or off or loading a page, and I've checked in F2 "image placeholders for missing im
