Updated file at 04:00 UTC+2: I left uncommented function. Needed K-meleon 76 testers. Theoretically should work from 1.6 ( you (version) really wasted my time) to K-meleon 76 whatever subversion. And if doesn't... you own me a full day wasted When I got all warking... K-meleon 1.6 fu**** everything, after revamp the full script. I ended taking the shorter route redoing the macro

Quotesiria That is, if "zip" really means "portable" here? If we stick to the real meaning of portable... is not. You have to manually create the profile and call the profile in the same folder as you drop Seamonkey. Otherwise it creates it in the Windows (under Windows) profile folder. If it is bigger is because it hasn't the same compression. Since years, the Firef

Quotesmallhagrid I am quite lukewarm towards Seamonkey & have always wished there could be a bare browser version of it - and even better if it was portable. It is portable!!! For the very first version it always has been portable, or has had got a portable option, as you prefer: https://archive.mozilla.org/pub/seamonkey/releases/ The above is the http version of the not available any

Quotesiria (just collecting here for completeness, not intended to complicate a macro so extremely) Is not about complicating things, is about real world implementation and effort-reward balance. Why implement something that will only see on one or two pages in real day net usage? (you could have posted a new reply )

Canvas capturing won't ever work as are being drawn by JavaScript on the fly.

Quotesiria By the way mozillazine must also close, after some 20 years, another extremely valuable resource. But at least its admin plans to keep the site public, as a static, frozen archive. http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=3055133 Oh, man, at least only forum activity will be lost. That knowledge is priceless. Quotemozillazine forums Much of the stuff is outdated

And it is related because... Really, I don't get it. Off-topic Chrome is the new IE and is not a surprise. Forcing the living standard and, or you use it (I don't), or some websites won't work as they "should" on other browsers. "Should" here means as the webmaster intended because the site was only tested with Chrome. The same story as IE in the past.

Quotesiria QuoteThen with the window opened, as has already a recognized name (window.name), can be used to dump it by readfile. Am afraid this is exactly the catch, when doing it by JS: when filling the new pagewindow by the script which created its name, that script still holds the new html-content too, so writefile/readfile would be rather useless IMO. Unless am getting that wrong now (very

Quotesiria That old prob with engines FORBIDDING everything to USERS drives me crazy again and again - no matter how much time this forces me to waste trying, nothing works anymore!! GRRR.... Yes, but this comes from about 15 years ago when started the cross-site scripting attacks (XSS). From one point of view, should be understood it. What is a shame is that in a couple of versions all c

If you didn't try, forget the document.write only above, as document.open is implicit: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/Document/open

The problem with that, as my suggestion, is that the page CSS would be applied "corrupting" the result.

Shouldn't be done, but if the culprit is the second open, the document.open();, remove it. Then I bet it will complain about document.write(); (almost 100% sure). (EDIT (I forgot to add this): Until close() the new page doesn't get an URL, so as it is about:blank, probably the Same Origin Policy blocks it) Replace (imgWin.document) {open(); with (imgWin.document) { T

Will they made a fork too, as Palemoon? Who knows. I guess that is what we can imagine from the news. I just clicked on my Seamonkey release notes to check for news (yeah, not the best path to see news, but I don't like auto-updates) and I saw this update from September. Another way to go, another option to Firefox. Good news?, bad news...?, time will tell. http://www.seamonke

Nah, XP SP3 requirements for K-meleon 76 subXXXX versions Can't test sorry. No plans so far on installing the Service Pack, soon or ever.

The day Firefox implemented hardware acceleration they broke everything. What can I say? If K-meleon 76 Gecko, official, works in XP SP2 and doesn't throw a BSOD as Goanna version, I can try to look at it, because I can't have a BSOD right now. But I don't think is the macro/script itself. By the way, the about:blank is normal. It is an empty page that maybe is not ren

hermes should answer with more knowledge, but, why should? The explanation should be still valid yet and this is not only applicable to K-meleon, but other newer software not compatible with Windows 2000.

Quotesmallhagrid I know this is an older thread - but: Since I am still very happy using Rodocop's 75.1 Pro, I would like to be able to use a couple of userscripts now too. This was what reminded me of this idea: https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/10096-general-url-cleaner So I searched here for what might work and did find Burp's thread - and also the warning that his mod bundle

What for? As a proof? xDDD After all I'm not the maintainer of that script. Only little fixes if I can. When they change the whole code, I pass. It is better to find another script or a website than spend a lot of time in reverse engineering it. Effort doesn't worth the unlikely benefit.

Quoteanonymous Hey JohnHell, Rarely visiting that site, but tested your macro in 2018 and 2019 with new and old KM/Gecko to find engine bugs. Stripped some garbage, but nothing essential. Download still works with 2018 and 2019 macro versions today. UA is important. Looks like they have restored the old code again. Believe me, it wasn't the UA. The UA has been the same today from starting

They really changed this time. No hope for a fix. I'm trying to reverse engineering it, but as I don't have a sample of how it was before today, I have no clue what actually the script does. Who did it really complicated things a lot. How easy could have been using eval to parse JSON, or JSON.parse... Lets see if someone around the net makes a parser to be used :/ Since then, l

Quotecpm1a_new thats what i'm using now, but double quotes is too narrow an area, rather have a button Then, if you still want to use the toolbars.cfg, just add a button/image and append a right click/left holding click submenu. And append to that submenu every menu in the menu bar. File, View, Tools, etc. All is in the docs. button{ defaultaction|submenu images } http://k

Quotecpm1a_new would like to add it into ...\browser\defaults\settings\toolbars.cfg It's even easier to unlock toolbars (view menu), move the menu to the most right you can until double quotes appear and lock the toolbars again. Minimalistic to extreme.

The problem is at the server performance. You can't do anything tweaking any browser. If the server is busy, is busy. Might also be your ISP peering, but, again, is something that you can't control through a web browser. Patience is the only solution

Quotecpm1a_new for both Ctrl+F and Find As You Type modes: any way to autostart "highlight all" without clicking the button in the Find bar (Opera 12-like)? No, always have been a bug. The button even pressed doesn't have effect and you have to toggle twice Just assign the search next and previous (read the Documentation) to a shortcut and go through all matches. It is quicker

QuoteJ.G. Easy question: will KMGoanna become final/stable anytime? Actually it is. But from the point of view of the engine, you should consider it as a rolling release. Similar of how other browsers release updated versions continuously, but in K-meleon Goanna, without dedicated update servers.

The div is there and the content is built through JavaScript, but the script that builds it halts with an error. Newer browsers are more tolerant (sadly they are) with errors or may be just that they are using/requesting some newer JavaScript engines versions. Anyway it fails with a couple of basic well supported functions, so, I don't know. How can be displayed?, there is no way. I
