Then you'll need to go to the latest 75 RC2 update 5 from the announcements forum thread. I don't remember of that problem in 74 but was a year ago. You can, anyway, try the bookmarks.dll plugin file from the latest 75 version update. It should be safe to use it without any trouble. Just in case, make a backup of your profile first to preserve a bookmarks.html backup. EDIT

Quoterodocop Bugreport: zooming all page still crashes KM even under Win 7 (also XP approved). Might be with a specific web page? I use a lot with CTRL + mouse wheel and I don't have crashes (by the way, this way can't be reset with the view menu option). Tested in the XP VM and as well with sites with glyphs as yahoo.co.jp or yandex.ru, just in case the font may cause problems

Quotesiria There's always the default shortcuts Ctrl+X / Ctrl+V Ah!! didn't know that! No need to answer, but I'm curious P, are you using a Surface Pro? Is the tablet that came to my mind, x86/x64 compatible.

QuoteZvonko File manager??? Maybe my question was not clear enough. I mean the editing of the bookmarks displayed on the bookmark taskbar. The bookmarks editor (Bookmarks > Edit ...) of K-Meleon allows to create new folders, to delete folders, to delete individual bookmarks, and to sort bookmarks in a folder. However, a bookmark can not be moved from one folder to another ... a feature

QuoteZvonko Or are there potential disadvantages of such a spoofing? If the page has been made expecting some html/css support that it's known is from X version of Gecko/GRE/Firefox and you are spoofing it telling you support it, you will see some unexpected rendering results. Usually you don't need to tell you are using the latest Firefox version, but just Firefox. K-meleon, in my

If you haven't set another file, despite what the preferences panels says, it is actually relative. It just takes the default location, that it is in the profile folder. As I said, unless you tell an absolute path to override the default. Of course, you can restore the default later.

QuoteJamesD @ JohnHell I think it must be your system. I changed a group of 'command' setmenu statements and moved them into a popup. I have the Bing site in another tab now and I can see my new popup appear whenever the cursor is on the popup name. I will include my code so that you can check your code against it. Happens the same. For a moment I thought if it could be th

I don't know if I'll finish my macro or even make it public, but finding weird behaviors in K-meleon has been half of my time LOL half because of lack of experience on macro functions behavior, such as setmenu and toolbars, and others... real weird things. Ok, here is another one: if you set a menu to DocumentPopup (default K-meleon menu) like "setmenu("DocumentPopup&q

Nice you have confirmed it! Yes, better added to the docs, because even when it is clear enough, sometimes we have to struggle to find out how things work xD Or maybe is only me Just would be interesting to know Dorian's opinion. If it is a new Gecko/ECMA "feature" or a change in K-meleon code or a mix of both.

Well, I'll tell , I was waiting to confirm by JamesD, but... we live in different time zones so, too much suspense. In fact, Siria, isn't a JavaScript error but a macro error and, probably an injectJS bug or normal behavior (I hadn't used this in the past until I knew, thanks to you, that javascript could run without javascript enabled by this function). One way or another, t

QuoteJamesDI ran a macro with the following code. The first alert was correct and showed the datetime. Before the second alert could display my KM 75 failed with an error. $_Datetime_Value = injectJS( "Date()"); alert( $_Datetime_Value, "datestring", INFO); $_Datetime_Date = injectJS( "var d = new Date(); function returnVar(d){return d;} returnVar(d);");

I don't agree with changing this light forum, but isn't less true, even without complaints, that I opted years ago to add this to userContent.css because sometimes was almost a nightmare: /* K-MELEON FORUM */ @-moz-document domain(kmeleon.sourceforge.net){ div{overflow:auto!important} } Alternatively, can be set overflow-x instead overflow. If there is the need, as simple as

Another dragging toolbar strange behavior, I just found playing with my mini macro. Happens because I'm adding to that toolbar a button (never done before), as not adding it doesn't happen, through pluginmsg(toolbar.... (you know). Or maybe is because it is added to it $OnStartup because $OnInit doesn't being added. Or maybe toolbars can be only added $OnStartup, I didn't k

You have a discussion and explanations here: http://kmeleonbrowser.org/forum/read.php?1,130161 Read it from beginning to end. Don't do a quick read because all is explained there. Please avoid post these things in the bugs subforum. It is how Gecko browsers work. Try to ask in the General first. Guenter, please, move.

It doesn't mean that doesn't work with javascript. It happens this because Mozilla banned the "javascript:function();" type of URLs and when we use the K-meleon open macro function, is the same as input an URL in the address bar. Mozilla left the "javascript:" URLs to be used only through bookmarklets. It is not an issue with macros or K-meleon, but that decisi

QuoteDorian Update 3 (requires previous update) fixing xul windows size, the last session problem, and the download dialog. @JohnHell I've added kmeleon.display.xulwidth and kmeleon.display.xulheight for convenience. This affect xul windows without a default size (for example cert manager is affected but not kmprefs) Nice, because the httpmonitor/httpfox window opened some times cover

Quotesiria Did a quick search for gmail mailto, produces lots of results. Looks like html5 allows now much easier handling, just not sure what KM can handle. An example that sounds like may work via errorconsole, but no clue if true: http://updates.html5rocks.com/2012/02/Getting-Gmail-to-handle-all-mailto-links-with-registerProtocolHandler After having a look to mimetypes.rdf in Firefox, you a

For me doesn't crash. Could be because I have not set PDF as a "File Handling>By Type" extension? I use Foxit PDF Reader and K-meleon always behaves without crashes whether I click Open or Save.

Uh, that's a bit tricky: set a browser to open the Gmail web page. Note that doing so you will lose features such as the parameters of a mailto link. For example, if click in a link like "mailto:john@doeDOTcom?subject=Hi there" you won't pass to Gmail page the recipient, nor the subject, just open mail.google.com inbox front page. In other words, invoking K-meleon wit

QuoteDorian @JohnHell: when you're saying full size, do you mean maximized or the windows is taking the whole screen without being maximized? The latest. Whole screen but not maximized. For example, this afternoon I said there was no problem, right? Now, before post this, I restored the window from maximized, and there it was the window, in full size taking the whole screen, so restore

QuoteDorian QuoteJohnHell I wasn't talking about sessions.json or an issue with sessions, but normal K-meleon Windows and XUL, as the example of the certificates one. AFAIK the certificates manager never saved its size. That's why I'm asking if it did in the past. It does save the last active tab, but for some reason the size is not saved. My firefox build doesn't start so

Normal behavior or bug? A thing I just discovered clicking on a link inside any program. When clicking, if K-meleon was open with the command line like K-meleon.exe -new -P "yourprofile" (I remark the -new parameter as it is the cause), K-meleon then gives an error that the profile must be loaded or it is inaccessible. K-meleon was open this way to test in another profile, the

QuoteDorian Does the follownig work to remove a popup menu ? setmenu("MyMenu", "command", "MyPopupItem",0); I know this shouldn't be done that way, but the "popup" type lack deletion feature. Yes, that would work to the delete a targeted popup instead the first one of the popup type available. I already was thinking in other ways to accompl

Better said if I finish it. While I make things I rethink them and I have another perspective, and I leave it, and then I retake xD Depending of the approach to accomplish something I stop myself.
