Sessions still not working, I "needed" for this afternoon, and, no way. It worked once and no more. Also, how can be set to open URLs in windows maximized and not restored? I found another thing while trying sessions.dll from another versions: parent.lock doesn't get deleted, so the browser session is actually never closed. It is weird, because when I use other versions sessi

QuoteJamesD Will navEnableJS, navDisableJS and navToggleJS be implemented in the future or should I remove them from the wiki Command IDs? navToggleJS already exits. The others are the ones weren't implemented from the beginning. Actually, there is no need to add them.

In the Announcements subforum you will find the K-meleon 75 RC3 version. It is at one tiny step to be final. K-meleon 75 RC 3 update 3 is stable and functional to use in the normal day usage. It uses GRE 31 ESR.

QuoteDorian QuoteJohnHell Had been navEnableJS and navDisableJS removed? No, they were never implemented Then I think I was confused with the Documentation. I went there as smart, replying, and ended with a mistake. Thanks. I hope JamesD reads this to fix it.

Had been navEnableJS and navDisableJS removed? Looks like what works are: navToggleJS pageToggleJS pageEnableJS pageDisableJS It has sense, as they aren't needed with navToggleJS, but I just want to know if it is like this. This is to fix the Documentation: http://kmeleonbrowser.org/forum/read.php?2,130307,page=3#msg-133093

After this thread http://kmeleonbrowser.org/forum/read.php?3,133657 I tested a little and looks like navDisableJS and navEnableJS are not available. This is only a side note for me, but I think I was wrong when I said I didn't know the navToggleJS and pageToggleJS, in fact were the ones that Dorian told in the update as new implementations http://kmeleonbrowser.org/forum/read.ph

Quotesiria Hmm, trying to understand that: does it mean, when surfing with blocked JS by default and only occasionally wanting to allow the current page, not all, that always both settings must be toggled simultaneously? So that hopefully the background pages are still locked by pageJS, when the global JS gets enabled? If you are surfing with JS blocked and you want your current page to allow j

All here is off Topic, ignore Dorian and devs. Quotethomase13 QuoteJohnHell For cookies and youtube. Set allow to youtube.com and session to google.com. I did this and YouTube comments work now! QuoteJohnHell After set the permanent cookies to log in for youtube, you can remove the google.com session rule and set youtube.com to session. You don't need anything else. I did this

For the icons Dorian discussed with Zero3k in one of the K-meleon 75 threads, why does it happen. I can't remember and find right now. Here is a thread: http://kmeleonbrowser.org/forum/read.php?1,131701,131701 And this is in K-meleon74: http://kmeleonbrowser.org/forum/read.php?8,127127 From here this is quite off topic, Dorian, ignore. AFAIK by design. You can't enable and disable JS for a page, if JS is not enabled globally. navToggleJS, enables "javascript.enabled preference as setting it to true. pageToggleJS, doesn't. Dorian should tell if this is unavoidable, but my guess is that it is unavoidable.

Quotethomase13 QuoteDorian Quotethomase13 [*] All favicons are quite dark Your screenshot doesn't show this, except maybe the first tab. The first tab shows the most noticable difference, but many other sites have this problem. As you can see from the screenshot, I have the same pages open in IE and K-M, and most of the favicons don't show up in K-Meleon at all; instead "defau

QuoteJohnHell Forget the above Dorian, must be something deeper... but I can't catch it. (Sorry the delay ("filling my tank" )) Ok, it is not deeper but dumb of me, in the fresh profile was working. How couldn't!!! if the fresh profile uses the Default skin LOL!!!! So the new bug, the broken feature, is not only with old, but with new skins too. Default folder is ne

After recheck, yes, but for the old skins. If you use a skin with the new skinning system, it takes from Default. If you use a skin with the old skinning system, it doesn't take from Default anymore. Should be placed in shared. The change was from update 1 to update 2 of RC 3.

QuoteDorian QuoteJohnHell For example, the first thing I noticed is that the icon of the buttons in a toolbar created with a macro (pluginmsg command), now aren't taken from the default skin and then fallback to the user skin. Now, it should be in the user skin folder. Order should be: User profile (profile/skins/) Skin in user profile (profile/skins/{skinname}/) Skin in program folde

QuoteDorian Fixed that for you. By the way, for those not aware, the above is RC3 update 2. So, what has been fixed, or broken? Now, it should be in the user skin folder. I remark th

As Dorian sometimes says (it drives me crazy ): works for me. But let's go deep, how do you add the bookmarks? Adding form context menu and from the Bookmarks menu, works for me without problems. The "only" difference in my case is that I set the preference to false as I don't like that menu item in bookmarks, but even, I tested, and it worked. kmeleon.plugins.bookmar

Then you'll need to go to the latest 75 RC2 update 5 from the announcements forum thread. I don't remember of that problem in 74 but was a year ago. You can, anyway, try the bookmarks.dll plugin file from the latest 75 version update. It should be safe to use it without any trouble. Just in case, make a backup of your profile first to preserve a bookmarks.html backup. EDIT

Quoterodocop Bugreport: zooming all page still crashes KM even under Win 7 (also XP approved). Might be with a specific web page? I use a lot with CTRL + mouse wheel and I don't have crashes (by the way, this way can't be reset with the view menu option). Tested in the XP VM and as well with sites with glyphs as yahoo.co.jp or yandex.ru, just in case the font may cause problems

QuoteZvonko File manager??? Maybe my question was not clear enough. I mean the editing of the bookmarks displayed on the bookmark taskbar. The bookmarks editor (Bookmarks > Edit ...) of K-Meleon allows to create new folders, to delete folders, to delete individual bookmarks, and to sort bookmarks in a folder. However, a bookmark can not be moved from one folder to another ... a feature

QuoteZvonko Or are there potential disadvantages of such a spoofing? If the page has been made expecting some html/css support that it's known is from X version of Gecko/GRE/Firefox and you are spoofing it telling you support it, you will see some unexpected rendering results. Usually you don't need to tell you are using the latest Firefox version, but just Firefox. K-meleon, in my

If you haven't set another file, despite what the preferences panels says, it is actually relative. It just takes the default location, that it is in the profile folder. As I said, unless you tell an absolute path to override the default. Of course, you can restore the default later.

QuoteJamesD @ JohnHell I think it must be your system. I changed a group of 'command' setmenu statements and moved them into a popup. I have the Bing site in another tab now and I can see my new popup appear whenever the cursor is on the popup name. I will include my code so that you can check your code against it. Happens the same. For a moment I thought if it could be th

I don't know if I'll finish my macro or even make it public, but finding weird behaviors in K-meleon has been half of my time LOL half because of lack of experience on macro functions behavior, such as setmenu and toolbars, and others... real weird things. Ok, here is another one: if you set a menu to DocumentPopup (default K-meleon menu) like "setmenu("DocumentPopup&q

Nice you have confirmed it! Yes, better added to the docs, because even when it is clear enough, sometimes we have to struggle to find out how things work xD Or maybe is only me Just would be interesting to know Dorian's opinion. If it is a new Gecko/ECMA "feature" or a change in K-meleon code or a mix of both.

Well, I'll tell , I was waiting to confirm by JamesD, but... we live in different time zones so, too much suspense. In fact, Siria, isn't a JavaScript error but a macro error and, probably an injectJS bug or normal behavior (I hadn't used this in the past until I knew, thanks to you, that javascript could run without javascript enabled by this function). One way or another, t
