I think with gecko browsers you have to restart to switch skins and get many changes to work - you certainly do with firefox as well as K-M Therefore all that is missing in that dept is ability to see a screenshot of skin in the browser itself before selecting. Do we really need this facility - I don't?

Thanks very much for your help. I have it working o'k in vlc and MPlayer but not in k-meleon itself, which is strange because I had it working fine in K-M a month or two ago. I can get it to work directly in Firefox but not Opera (which also use to be o'k} or internet explorer ..... Weird! Most other other web radios are fine with K-M

Thanks But I don't see how webpages can load faster, it's ony a tweak to make applications (any application) load faster on Xp. Once the application has loaded the prefetch tweak is non operational

Apparently some third party applications do throw up an error using the prefetch method. I use Hao's K-M versions and they load pretty quickly so I have never personally tried it. How long is it taking? K-m is much faster to initially load than Firefox but all Gecko browsers initially load slower much than internet explorer based ones for example. I'm enjoying this version, many thanks Hao. A few bugs for me? I'm finding this version often reloads tabs that have been closed at the end of the previous session or drops a tab? For example if i have 6 tabs open and I close 3 of them before closing the browser, the browser will automatically notify me at shutdown that 3 tabs are open and then reopen all 6 tabs next session.

I was looking at it further thinking that Noscript would have blocked that div just for that site - it does on Firefox which I seldom use - but not on my official K-meleon with the K-M version of the extension. The first code didn't block it whereas the second one - inc variations did - unfortunately, for some reason it also took out all the rest of the page content along with the scroller However searching the web for blocking div led me to an alternative solution which is disabling javascript. There may be other ways with ccf but I use left click for opening links in current window and drag & drop mouse gesture for opening links with focus on new tab. It just requires a tiny flick of the mouse.
