simon, the greasemonkey extension does not work for either SeaMonkey or K-Meleon. It might be possible to use it when they fixed the extension for use with SeaMonkey. But i IMHO Hao points at the right spot - we can mimic the function sufficiantly - since You do not need the feature every day. SeaMonkey 1.1 and K-Meleon with experimental SeaMonkey xpi installer service do not install greasemon

No, here k-m 1.02 de-AT did nor fall for it with JS activated. It stopped after typing "C". I also had the same with Firefox with 1.5.0.9 engine. IE 7 Standalone Install crashed reproducable. In one case i had to reboot because it tore down explorer too. Maybe system specific for all browsers? My XP is not on C:/; IE error is about path.

All three dll must go into k-meleon folder where k-meleon.exe is. mfc71.dll, msvcp71.dll and msvcr71.dll. After that k-meleon should start. IF not You could try with xpcom.dll, xpcom_compat.dll and xpcom_core.dll from SeaMonkey that has the same GRE as Your K-Meleon because they do not create an empty K-Meleon Profiles folder in app data folder on hdd.
