Thanks for replying Rodocop. Another example... I had maybe 6 URLs that will not open properly in 1.02 - so I opened 75.1 Pro, and=> It crashed...and crashed...and crashed. Had to force it closed & re-open it, 4 times so far. It crashed HARD just trying to open a link I found here: https://winaes.com/ So here I am in 1.02 again, having gotten a reply notification. Why i

Thanks for replying Rodocop !! I had not seen or found that addon by adodupan yet - thanks for pointing it out. Does this mean...?: QuoteTo install it you should have kmeleon.install_firefox_extension pref set to false. After that you can install it just like firefox-addons by clicking the link to XPI-file. Change that setting, then change it back afterwards ?? I also see where he is off

Really - truly - seriously... I tried making V75.1 my full-time browser, but it just cannot do too many things that I've gotten spoiled to having right at hand all the time. But what I've started doing in my daily routines even strikes me as being funny=> => After checking & sanitizing my emails I use Pocket K-Meleon V1.02 to check in at some sites that are important to

Thanks Rodocop. Yes, and yes: Quoterodocopwhen you've run KM Pro for the 1st time - it asked you 2 questions about new finded plugins. Have youy answered 'yes' 2 times? Also: QuoterodocopYou should have only 3 off by default: IE Favs, Mouse Gestures and Opera Hotlist. Have double-checked and these are all correct too.

Thanks for the replies Folks. I am trying to make this work in K-Meleon 75.1 Pro, and it is not working as it should. In my other versions here it does, yes: QuoterodocopYes, it works so from even 1.x-branches. But not in this one. Yes - this is exactly what I am hoping it would do: QuoteJohnHellRight click it. If instead left click, you right click, it will open in a new tab/window. I

Hello Folks. One thing I am really missing in using this browser daily is the ability to open a site from a bookmark in a new tab. Since my browsing style has me going back and forth between tabs, this ability is very important for getting new information while keeping the rest of the tabs open as they are. Is there any way to get the bookmarks menu to work with right-clicks so that this m

By following the great pointers posted in the replies, I have found some very interesting stuff indeed for any win2k lovers here besides myself... Almost endless amounts of info here: http://www.msfn.org/board/forum/35-windows-nt420002003/ Tomasz86 has a site just filled with updates, here: http://www.windows2000.tk He is also very active in helping determined FF users under w2k, and t

Thanks for replying to my reply Guenter !! I am especially curious to know more about these parts of your reply, please: Quote...I have a Win2000 update CD but used ME mostly until I adopted XP when I found nlite a program that let me create cutom install CD that made thinks like Win2000/ME look and feel. Can you say what you did to gain that goal, please ?? Which forum are you referring

Thanks Guenter & JujuLand. I will welcome ReactOS whenever it becomes a bit more mature. Their community edition site & successful funding campaign look very exciting actually - and w03 is a good target level as well. It will be fantastic if their development speeds up as a result of all that. As to all the flavours of win-doze...: If it had been a bit more compatible with newer h/

I am familiar with ReactOS - it is a great idea, but not mature enough to use as a daily, main OS. Does the below refer to ReactOS - and was it supposed to say 'target' rather than 'tarjet' ??: QuotejonaspmAlso, the tarjet OS is moving to Windows Vista, but they'll certianly change fast to Windows 7. I am just trying to comprehend what that may mean - does it refer

So here goes - making another new posting... At the top there is a checkbox for 'follow topic', which seems a good idea to use. BUT: There is no good or correct answer to getting notifications from this forum, it seems. Once checked, and the post submitted - when one looks at the subscribed posts list that new posting -may- even appear, but will have the 'email' drop

phpBB....just...works - all the time !!: QuotesiriaLove phpBB forums too! If you're an expert for that stuff and could help with knowledge, perhaps Dorian might consider... Although my main concern isn't the poor software, could live with that if need be, but the horror thought that this forum can vanish any time completely! And am afraid, if that happens all that knowledge would p

As a preface to my replies below... I am hugely grateful for the existence of this forum with its amazingly helpful folks - and if what it takes in order for me to use it is to open this ancient browser each time, then so be it - I am merely baffled at this oddity. (Now to reply to the replies this thread has gotten...thanks.) Hi JamesD, and thanks for replying. I have tried that, yes:

Thanks Again and Again Siria !! I did not see your other post in the developer thread. BUT: Yesterday I did accidentally stumble upon something like what you recommended with showing the menu bar and dragging another toolbar over it !! I will try that some more with specific empasis in doing it from from the right side, so that it may hide as you've described.

Thank You Very Much George_Hall !! I copied the files key3.db, signons.sqlite from/to the profiles folders, as suggested in your reply. That is a GREAT solution it seems to have worked perfectly. Thanks and Best Wishes.

I am trying to use V75.1 Pro as my everyday browser. Sometimes browsers need to be restarted, obviously. Having a button to sdo this quickly is a great thing. This version came with a restart button included - but it did not work; The browser closes, but does not then restart. Restart2 does the same thing. Since I have now tried both available versions of restart button extension in V75

Thank You JamesD. It will be great if there is a way to have Groups there. Siria's reply was about using the privacy bar, which I keep closed 99% of the time. My ultimate goal is to maximize the actual browser area, so I try to stuff the needed functions into just a single bar in any browser that I'm using daily.

It appears to work with V75.1...but: It doesn't allow passwords to be imported via any means that I can find. I really need to import my FF PWs as there are a great many of them. Is there anyone who can help me with a solution to this, please ?? Thanks.

Thanks Again JamesD. Have installed Groups2 and it is terrific. A question if I may, please: I hide the menu bar and instead use the little gear thingy to access the menu entries so as to have just a single bar with all the things I need. Groups2 does not add itself to that batch of menu items. Any chance it may be made to do so in the future ?? Thanks.

Hi JamesD. Just a quick update about DumpCache.7z you so kindly provided. I installed in into V75.1 Pro and verified the presence of its files, but cannot make it appear anyplace & did not see anything new in any of the menus. Perhaps it will not work in that specific version ?? Thanks.

BTW...this problem persists. Still cannot log in or post from any other browser I use except for Pocket K-Meleon v1.02, which I am using right now after trying 3 other, newer browsers to do so.

Just to be clear - I am very accustomed to session saving from using FF. I have also found the groups function in Pocket K-Meleon to be a wonderfully useful thing. Perhaps the session function is just groups, renamed & intended to totally replace it...not knowing the history of this change makes me curious. So I ask: Is that function totally gone in the newer versions ?? Is it just

Thanks Again Siria. Truth is=> QuotesiriaSorry for your eyesight! Would be one of my worst nightmares. When one has been a cripple in several different ways all one's life & is nearing the age of 60 - one learns to adjust & keep right on going. Between the messed up visual stuff - the messed up hearing & hands that don't work real well, there's always a bit of
