That simple! And of course you need to add the buttons to toolbars.cfg, like this:

Layer Buttons { New_Layer? { macros(new_layer) New Layer toolhot.bmp7? toolcold.bmp7? tooldead.bmp7? } Close_Layer? { macros(close_layer) Close Layer toolhot.bmp8? toolcold.bmp8? tooldead.bmp8? } }

In Macros:

In Menus:

In Accelerators:
