Hi Monkeysage,
I don't know if there's much difference but I saw the Moz 1.7b is out now (18/3).
Isn't that a nice base for a new 'nightly' ?? ;-)))))
Last weeks it is quiet from your side. Everythink ok??

Hmmm I wonder whatever happened to Monkeesage? He came back in all enthused about K-Meleon, put out a couple of Mozi-Meleon builds, and then disappeared, which is something odd that occurs with people who work on K-Meleon.
Or maybe it's that "other projects" syndrome again. ;-)

I was wondering the same thing...
His builds are really great and I really appreciate his work.
Where and why is he gone?!!!??

Due to his growing fascination with XUL. I hope it doesn't consume him too fully though.

hi CaiGua,
about "accessible": what do You want me to load down from his place?
If You do not know - I can get the htmls of his page for You first.
I have a private place where i can mirror for You about 10 mb at a time.
greetings from Hannover
p. s. i hope that that solves Your "not assessible" somehow?
Sorry that my English is so bad // hope i understood what You mean & want.
I could also try to load down and send info by mail?
Iff - turn to the webmaster at sterntaler - the translation script from the other thread with the many nations mentioned, remember? If i do not answer imidiately? remember that i am from Central European Time Zone.

Thank u very much guenter, you're so kind.
Glad to let you know I've downloaded this version and mirrored the tutorial pages of Monkee-Sage site with some proxy, of course mirror action is just for personal learing and use.
Really happy to be here 'cause there are always helping hands like you, cheers.

Hi,
Tried K-Meleon today for the first time.
The official build wasn't enough for my needs but
http://gratisdei.com/km8.2-mm1.6-fb0.8.zip
seems to be working just fine.
It's much faster than Firefox at work in a 128 MB PIII-500 with seven pages loaded at the same time.
But I do miss some features from Firefox:
1) open all bookmarks in folder;
2) multiple homepages;
I got addicted to these and would like to see them coming to K-Meleon as well...
Cheers,
Bruno

Multiple homepages can be achieved by defining your own start group with group macro provided in the
macro library in wiki

Not as friendly as Firefox, but the performance is worth the trouble
Thanks, will try it tomorrow.

If you do, be sure to replace MonkeeSage's layers.dll & macros.dll with the official versions. They are located in the kplugins folder.

I see he uses linux now as main OS , no wonder he drops KM then. Linux is the way to go

Thanks, I tried it before reading your post and it crashed, but not anymore
BTW, is there something wrong with the 1.7a version of MonkeeSage's build ?
Menus didn't work :/

Well, sadly I'm going to abandon K-meleon and use firefox again... <:/
A javascript menu on one of my work's pages sometimes opens, sometimes doesn't, while in firefox it allways opens.
And since MonkeeSage builds are now down and development seems to have stopped I'll have to go with the times and use Firefox. Despite K-Meleon faster page rendering :/

Hmmm, that's not nice...
I sent Monkeysage a mail with the question where he was etc...
Now I have to read he stopped with the KM-builds.
At this moment I am using his build with added functionality.
I hope this will be picked-up in new KM builds.
Yesterday I tried the last builds of FF, just to see if all the enthousiastic messages about it are true. I have to be hounest and say it is a very good browser.
On some websites it even seems to be faster then KM when speedsettings implemented....
But, I will stay with KM for the moment, also because I have changed the macro's, menues etc.. just as I wanted it; something what is not so easy with FF.
I hope the developers keep their heads up and continue the good work!

Much of the functionality comes AFAIK mainly in / via macros (k-m part of his builds).
we should try to transfer it inofficially to a theme - if not enough for several people´s needs is transfered to official build.
I will try to transfer the things i personaly use to my translation script. ( I use his 1.7 for certain surfing puposes! - got to include that functions that i like in other k-m myself - maybe i succed
)
Those of You that makes themes may want also to try to transfer things to 0.9 as soon that is there? What else can we do?
Best regards from Hannover

What macros are usually included in Monkeesage's builds anyway? I personally have not used a Mozi-Meleon build for quite some time (well prior to K-Meleon 0.8.2), so maybe a list of the items you'd like included with a theme would help.
