Hello,
I'm trying to access:
https://quicksitefix.aceproject.com/
and receive the follow error when arriving at the site:
403 - Forbidden: Access is denied.
You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials that you supplied.
No credentials have been supplied at all. And I use the site regularly with FireFox and Chrome.
Suggestions?
Just the usual. Tell their server you're using a modern Firefox browser :cool:
For example this useragent string shows me "something" there:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:60.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/60.0
The funny thing is, an UA with ancient FF10 works too, but not with FF52 or 38...
Which KM-version do you have? If no idea how to change useragents strings:
First try with Menu Tools > UserAgent
If no fitting macro installed, try this: useragents2018
Or just for a quick test:
open URL "about:config" and type "override"
Set this pref: "general.useragent.override" = (the FF60 string above)
If the pref doesn't exist yet, right-click and create it.
(sig) New unofficial K-Meleon 76.4 (KMG76.4) available, in own subforum.
Based on Goanna engine, called 'test' builds forever but more stable as 75.1 acc. forum members. It's 1-2 generations ahead of predecessor KM76RC-2016
