I installed Wine on Ubuntu which mimics/installs a Windows OS within Ubuntu. Done that very easy & downloaded K-Meleon again & installed it wit

But they're not the only web browsers on the market, nor are they necessarily the best. While you've probably never heard of Flock, K-Meleon, and Maxthon, these three alternative browsers offer features so innovate that on

What MS don't appreciated is that their's too many alternatives for them (MS) to have any real effect. People have woken up to their wise-guy tactics & it just comes across as olde hat cheap & tacky lol Yet another desperate last ditch attempt at trying to increase their browser decline

I see this though: "... browsers that support both the tag in HTML5 and the h.264 video codec. These include: * Google Chrome * Apple Safari (version 4+) * Microsoft Internet Explorer with Chrome Frame installed (Get Chrome Frame)" Ironic it's not exactly x-browser except biased towards their own

The governments of France and Australia have joined those who are warning that Internet Explorer is unsafe in its unpatched state. So has New Zealand. But the UK, reportedly, has decided not to do so. But some of the recommended alternatives might cause some users frustration. ... users of Chrome and Safari might find themselves frustrated. France has echoed calls by the German government for web users to find an alternative to Microsoft's Internet Explorer (IE) to protect security. Certa, a government agency that oversees cyber threats, warned against using all versions of the web browser. "Microsoft themselves admit there is a vulnerability, even in IE8," said Graham Cluley of security firm Sophos. Source:

Yeah it's that one - I've used the others but IMO this ones got small icons & doesn't look too colourful & 'childish' You can actually put a background picture behind it as I've done that in the past It's on my XP Pro 2008 desktop. I just have Bookmarks, Privacy & Mail & News toolbars unused & moved the icons, url & menus onto

Researchers have disclosed a critical vulnerability in the latest version of Mac OS X that they say Apple has sat on for almost seven months without fixing. The German government has warned web users to find an alternative browser to Internet Explorer to protect security. Hi For ages now I've been 'suggesting' K-meleon to software download site Snapfiles but, to no avail I've even had my friends (several) submit K-meleon in the past. I'm pretty disgusted with Snapfiles as I've point hundreds to their site and even list them on my site for many years but, during this time not once have they listed K-meleon and tbh in my opin

On the right hand side pane of the window after login just click use 'Y! mail classic' and it works fine Y! 'enhanced' is only slow and cumbersome anyway lol As a secondary note: If you changed KM to show FF or IE browser string ID, 'Y! mail e
