Just curious, if it's no secret, what are you planning to do?

Just remembered - my linktoggle macro (in extensions forum here) creates a 4-line inline menu for selection context, each time you "toggle" a link and then highlight anything. And when clicking an item of that menu, or Ctrl+C, or after next page load the 4 lines in that inline menu are deleted again, one by one. The inline menu itself will remain there all the time, but being empty ge

Whoa... no wonder you think it were horribly complicated  That said, about deleting POPUP menus I have no idea, may need some trick or perhaps not possible at all? INLINE submenus vanish if they contain no entries anymore, as you noticed too. I do like that menus don't need to be attached anywhere to still exist, that makes creation a lot easier, no preconditions for the first

QuotesiriaAh wait - a dim memory returns... could it be that KM75 can only set ALL pics with the old "SetButtonImage", not just the cold or hot one...? Must test again... Yes, still a bug Have used the "new" commands now, they require setting all images always too, no chance to change only "cold" etc., but seem to work. Have still left the old version in it too

Thanks rodo for all your hard work Had overlooked the translation of tooltips, not being used at all to need that due to lack of users. Just one little glitch now, one of the old macroinfo lines isn't commented out yet. And wonder if the word "GUI" couldn't be replaced by something less techy, perhaps "show bar"... but not sure. (Yes, mine was far more techy yet )

Perhaps a matter of taste, but yes, support this too, and guess it even was different in older KM versions and then got changed. And it's especially bad for Favorites and Hotlist, which seem just dead when left-clicking them. But in light of the menu bar now being off by default, it would really make a lot of sense to show the full menu now on left-click. Thinking about it... have rese

Not a bug, only a new setting to help speed. Actually not a K-Meleon invention but a genuine Mozilla setting, was introduced with Firefox (as I learned just yesterday :cool Hopefully there will be a visible switch in the prefs in new versions. If not, no prob: type "about:config" in the adress bar or click Edit>Configuration>Browser Configuration. Ignore the warning. Find t

Perhaps, as fallback for the worst case, add the "Tool&bars" menu to the page context menu, hoping this one will always be there...

QuoteJackLet people disable it if they want (probably easier than enabling...right click->disable). What I keep saying - it's easier to switch something OFF than to switch something ON when you don't even know it exists. That's why I'm really mighty glad the privbar is finally ON by default, after so many years (nag: just the Clear-functions should all get a confirmatio

Ah right... Looks like another victim of the "modern" minimalist skin fashion ;-) Well, if I guess right the buttons are now zoomed dynamically and this eliminates the need for skin variations... But still, just thinking: perhaps there could still be an optional variation, called Default(max)? Containing only a skin.js, which shows all toolbars? To give people a second chance to

Another possibility: perhaps accidentally off in View > Toolbars > bookmarks? Am not quite sure, but guess the pref only decides whether the toolbar is created or not. By default it's then visible of course, but can manually be toggled off. Do you happen to use the same profile for all installs or is it portable version?

The longer I think about it... Just fire as many "k-m.exe URL" commands as you have URLs. If the browser is set to use tabs, they will all open inside the same window and same session. Then again, jujulands idea is cool too. Hardcoded URLs inside the kmm itself, extremely easy to create and for you to manipulate!

Certainly possible one way or the other, with the help of your script and possibly a special profile. And perhaps a little KM macro if needed (or not), but may need some fiddling. Or perhaps a bat-file? So far just not sure about the "if needed" part or what would be the simplest in general, Dorian will hopefully tell more... Commandline options are here: http://kmeleon.sourcef

My machine is used to 30-60 tabs (obviously with blocked JS and other heavy stuff), but then it starts going to the knees James, must admit my css-knowledge isn't really that much better than your own, just struggling along ;-) But OnLoad is fine, certainly ideal for that single line of zoom-code. If there's any prob for other macros with OnLoad at startup of RC2, a trick would wo

Fixing sounds great Just curious, what does that pref mean? Also confused because it triggers OnLoad before a page is loaded.

There's a syntax error, between gmx.com and ")" is a ";" Hey, not true, that's a bad forum bug, it adds that ";" automatically?! In my post below too, automatically after links? Have now used a trick to remove it  Anyway, suggestion to test this instead: _EaseRead_AutoRun { $URLBAR=="http://www.gmx.com" ? $TextZoom=10 : $TextZoom=12

That close-button has always been a bit touchy, but did you know it's not necessary at all, you can close tabs simply by middle-click or double-click on them?

Of course that was irresistible Save as *.kmm into macros folder: _________________ session_startupmenu{ plugin(rebarmenu, "&Load Session"); } $OnStartup=$OnStartup."session_startupmenu;"; $macroModules=$macroModules."session_startupmenu;"; _________________ All this macro does is simply auto-clicking "Sessions > Load Session" and show

Looks like there was a setting for that years ago, but stopped working when tabs were introduced: http://kmeleonbrowser.org/forum/read.php?1,86297 Have just tried it on Vista and RC2u1. The new pref does nothing yet. So it fully depends on the chosen Windows theme.

Nice, didn't realize... so perhaps I should place my tabs on top too, but am so used to have them at the bottom, and there it's all gray in gray :-/

Frankly, even with KM1.6 on win98 I've often wished too there was some more glaring highlighting possible. As long as only few tabs are open it's easy, the button looks pressed, light gray on middle gray. But with some 20-30 tabs open I have to look really hard and often search and riddle for several seconds to distinguish the active tab.

 Edit > Configuration > Toolbars If you're using the KM75 default skin, it probably reports "Not found"? In that case go manually find "toolbars.cfg" in folder ..browser/defaults/settings, and copy that file into folder ..skins/default That is where all the buttons are defined, except the macro-created ones. Now open that file and remove the comment

A few simple peanuts still need fixing: compact menu: offline and OpenFile are still missing Some native macros are still declared "user-defined" macros in F2: places tuxhelper uagent useragentmode Has 2 useragent macros, both show up in tools menu. uagent.kmm should be deleted. Clear actions: there is a confirmation for ClearAll now, but would be important to have it for

Very weird. And the error console says nothing? What happens when you type "about:downloads" in urlbar and open from there? Just in case, but you've probably tried already to download RC2 again with u1 and unzipped them into a new empty folder?

Or perhaps it has to do with the pref they mention here https://support.mozilla.org/de/questions/909382 PS: would place it higher in the menu, and not make it dependant from fullscreen-plugin: setmenu(NavEx,macro,"Downloads","_downloads_History"); Or as Dorian mentioned, in macros meant exclusively for new KM versions he'd prefer opentab: _downloads_History{ open
