Impressing, and very glad you figure all this out, but frankly: That mass of code without any visible structure looks so scaring, I wouldn't dare to touch it either  The only way I see: create a ready-made rdf-file and post it here as attachment? The other stuff, getting the locked state off, sounds feasable, just not the editing... let alone omni.ja...

Okay, try this (just hope there's no typo, haven't tested ;-) $_testnr=1; _EventOrder_OnLoad { logmsg("OnLoad Event Action", warning); $_testnr=$_testnr+1; $_testnr==4 ? $OnLoadOnce=$OnLoadOnce."_EventOrder_nrZero"; alert($OnLoadOnce."\n\ntestnr: ".$_testnr,"$OnLoadOnce:"); } _EventOrder_nrZero { $_testnr=0; alert($OnLoadOnce.&quo

That logmsg is completely new to me, interesting thing But you really consider OnLoadOnce to be far more complicated than it actually is: QuotesiriaOnLoadOnce is fired after every page load, not just once a session. The trick is that its values are deleted every time, and new ones get added all the time too, between page loads. Either created each time by normal OnLoad-Macros that contain

QuoteJamesDIt might be my method of updating that causes the history to appear as it does. I do not update in place. I copy the entire code to my PC, make changes, test in the sandbox, and then replace the entire code. I can assure you it's really the system itself and not your method. Am sure of that because my own last edits were marked just as messed, and I did edit in place. Even in

Hmm... My KM75 is only on an offline machine, but when I use the new way to set it to open yahoo-mail, it does try to open the yahoo page. So in theory it does seem to work with the new method, it's just not in the menus yet?? What if you go to the zoho page, the page where Firefox can add it, and then type 'about:preferences' into the URLbar, click on Applications and look what

Ah pity. Of course, if someone doesn't have enough admin rights it's a prob... I do hope it will get fixed, but meanwhile, rather than copy-pasting, you could use a few lines of macro code to open zoho when clicking a mailto-link together with a keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+Shift+Leftclick or +Middleclick? anything?), or when right-clicking on a link and find Zoho in the popup menu - if you

The markup for highlighting wiki changes is just a nightmare, instead of just highlighting changed words it marks whole chapters as "deleted", shows that part far above the original place under wrong headlines, and far below, even whole 'screen pages' below (but this time under correct headlines) the modified chapter appears again as "newly added". Sigh, very hard to

Just curious, try a trick that someone else reported to work, but only 1 person did it so far: if you still have IE on the system, configure this to use this webmail. Afterwards KM may automatically use that too - if it works...

Sigh... every week someone else has trouble with that bug, which exists since many years - no wait, it's a feature  Click the link named "this thead" for a slightly complicated workaround: http://kmeleonbrowser.org/forum/read.php?8,134108,134146#msg-134146

And thanks to desga For the german download texts I'd suggest Save the file to system default download folder Datei im System-Standardordner für Downloads speichern (frankly I'd rather skip the system and just say 'default': Datei im Standard-Ordner für Downloads speichern ) Use this Download Folder: Diesen Download-Ordner benutzen:

Thanks for testing John. Finally managed to test it too and - no probs! Looks now much like some old newsfox code still lingering in his folders somewhere.

QuoteDorianYou have to create "sessions.json.bak" Just thinking, would it be possible to add the date/time to the name? Otherwise am afraid it's too easily overwritten when a user isn't aware of it and crashes a second time. Or perhaps a numbered name, bak, bak(2), ...

Probably only Dorian can tell for sure for KM75. All I know is the difference in older KM versions, where the "Last Session" was actually the current one, therefore hidden in the menu. The trick was that at each browser start, KM looked up whether it had crashed at last exit or not, and if NO it first deleted the "previous" prefs, then renamed "last" to "pre

QuoteDorianI'm not sure why you would like to have an application with bigger text than the other. Quite simple, because some texts are longer than others ;-) Like most URLs, many open tabs at once, many priv-buttons, while screen space is limited. So in general a normal font is preferred, but for long texts it's a compromise between text size and text length.

Thank you WiM! Great it works for you now, and glad it's so easy to fix Important tip, if you or anyone wants such a missing pref in all future new profiles too, or perhaps just for looking it up again later, collect them in a new js-file in the folder for default prefs: KM7X: K-Meleon/browser/defaults/preferences KM1.X: K-Meleon/defaults/pref For example have now added this in min

Profiles sound like the harmless part to me, and not your real prob if overwriting doesn't work. Many of us use multiple profiles (subfolders) anyway for various reasons. You only need to know in which place the parent folder of those profiles is located, either inside K-Meleons program folder (portable installation) or in the normal windows user folder (multi-user installation), or KM

Probably just another pref-jungle-thing... Did some googling and kept reading about a "folderlist" pref. The last 2 entries here sound interesting: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Download_Manager_preferences sounds similar too: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/980785 and here are TONS of "download" prefs! http://kb.mozillazine.org/About:config

It's great if KM75 allows Firefox-addon developers to have their xpi-addons work in KM also without modifications. And it's great if desga learns how to do this too, it may be useful in adapting FF addons for KM. But so far I fail to see any real advantages when using this way for native KM functions too? Frankly, whether creating new KM functions this way really is a lot easier

Sorry, that whole Last Pass system is way over my head. But if it worked before, and the only prob was the changed link and in the past the broken macrolanguage in KM1.7, then it should now work fine in KM75 again. It may offer a few new macro commands, but the old ones still work all too as far as I remember. Unless the latest changes created some unknown glitch again, but consider that rather

Great! Thanks too, for updating the first post. QuoteJohnHell That is because about:preferences hasn't been implemented to Firefox/Gecko until version 3x (but above 31 sure). In Firefox 31 doesn't work either, as the options panel is still the "old" window. Major pity. It really looks like that colors GUI is only reading the prefs, but not writing. But those are really i
