Hi, jsnj, yes, definitely. I do hope that does not add a problem other than an indented line in the searchOptions menu - see screenshot in attached 7z. But that IS readable, correct german. The alternative would have been to put "Die Suchmaschine" in there - too long, for my taste. And the "move", in german, appears at the end of the phrase ("verschieben").

Thank you, jsnj, now everything is working oK. Here's my final version of the german translation! Edited: removed some spaces from the Search Options menu. The search.kml.7z is the final file - don't know how to remove the other. - Admin? feel free to do so, please.

Hi, jsnj, QuoteYou inadvertently placed single quotes around Suchanfragen s&peichern aktivieren on line 37. That broke it. Removed, all's well well, without quotes that's not good in german, so I edited it, edited some other parts, too - now ALMOST everything is almost perfect. The exception: I left "Site Search" untranslated - any translation I entered there ended

Hi, my active Spanish equals zero ( - well, hasta la vista ...), but I read this: QuoteLuis para poder abrir varias pestañas simultaneas as : QuoteHow to be able to open multiple links in tabs - from bookmarks, probably. You can try this thread first: "Learning new stuff every day...". So, can anybody writing spanish help Luis with "nick"s and "groups&quo

Hi, Andy, and welcome to the forum! Now, this is not Firefox, and it does not use sqlite (yet?). So, what would you want to do with it? That task probably can be done, in a different way, just tell us what. In the meantime, you might try digesting some of the FAQs?

Hi. @ desga2: I have no idea. I just copied, imitated, tried. Jsnj's "They are there to fit properly within the macro statement and for proper spacing within the menu items or prompts." seems feasible to me for the singles & spaces, though. @ all: Well, after further testing I have to say: my translation does look good, but... it broke at least 2 features: 1) Change

... ok, transfer via web page text won't be perfect, so let's try an attachment. Rename to search.kml, put it in the \locales\de-DE folder. Please report broken items.

Hi, jsnj, sorry, your answer was not even needed, really... everything is so obvious that I found out myself. Everything is ok now, with the new translation - plus, I think slightly different toolbar/menu cfgs from my second machine... Note to users of the other locales: as far as those .kml's are still machine-made, some native speaker should take care of that - this extension will

Hi, jsnj, QuoteDid the German 1.5.3 recognize it? I don't know, never had that one (easier to get support when using the en-US version...), so everything worked out of the box - no reason to study the how-to's... I am just editing the search.kml, which, by golly (?) needs that. Just some questions concerning that: Can I add in-page comments with a heading # ? Line trai

Hi, jsnj, something does need adjustment, I'm afraid. I got me a fresh K-M en-US version; search+ installed ok there. The SearchButton's menu has engines & multisearch only, no Previous Search and no Options - in the Tools menu, all is oK, though. So I knew the (3rd?) download had not been corrupted. I finally managed to install, to my german installation, after having

Hi, I couldn't make this work in 1.5.4, on WinXP. Error popping up with or shortly after the "Restore Session" prompt. ModName: toolbars.dll ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 00002a74. Maybe it's just about some shifted ampersands in the menus?

Hi, fjensen, well, usually a portable browser is not meant to be made the default browser - quite on the contrary. Why not download this current stable 1.5.4 installer? Then uninstall your prior version, set InternetExplorer as default, restart PC, test: did IE manage to take over from FiFo? Install 1.5.4, set as default, restart, and you should have better luck this time. If not,

Hi, disrupted, Quotethe disabling of selected text is a natural result of js event listener for the mouse, it overrides and there's no way around it..even in the xul firefox extension it acts the same way, you can no longer select text and the firefox user who asked for the feature is probably aware of that... GnD temporarily disables the feature on DoubleClick, if I remember well.

Hi, disrupted, thanks a lot, you have already done the bigger part of the work, haven't you? Alas, I'm concentrating on other things these weeks, so I won't get started with it for a while. Is there anybody who wants to take over?

Hi, disrupted, more than a month later... Let me just state that I, too, still am sorry, for having made you spend too much unpleasant time with that mousehook. More so, as I upgraded to 1.5.4 about a week later, and have decided since to do ALL the WindowManaging externally with Autohotkey. But thank you, anyway!

Hi, K-Meleoner, this, on the other hand: Quote Sigh....user problem, always. A poor worksman blames his tools. is not of a kind of statement that helps to keep up the overall quality and friendlyness of this forum, IMHO - no matter how true. I guess that's why siria wrote: "Guys, please... ", not: "Brad, please"

Hi, Tris, my last one - if this does not work, I'd really suggest getting hold of a Mouse with a working wheelButton. The trick is to invoke the MClick from the menu. For that, open NiftyWindows.ahk, find, say, the line "Menu, TRAY, Default, Help". Insert a line "menu, tray, add, Scroll, scroll" just beneath. At the end of the script, add: scroll: { mouseMove,

Hi, Tris, Quoteremapping ScrollLock to MButton would be of no pratical effect since I'd need to press that distant button in my keyboard I strongly sympathize with that! Well, if you have AutoHotkey installed AND don't use a double RightClick yet, have a look at "Laszlo"'s script (2nd of March, 2006, "If you only want to use double right-click, it is much simpl

Hi, Doon, thx. Works here, under XP Pro SP3.5, for 1.5.3 & 4 and 1.60. My guesses: OS-Version related, or you have a different embed.jar? If you are interested: here is how I found out - maybe you find enough hints there.

Hi, desga2, I was trying to find a solution for Nr.3 out of that thread: Tris' Five. Finally, I searched for any file (*.*) containing the word "autoscroll", using freeCommander, which really rummages any file. Found hits in \C:\chrome\embed\content\communicator\utilityOverlay.js Searched that, found a whole sector with the title // autoscroll I did not see any way that I

Hi, in KM 1.5.4, if I go to ->Edit ->Configuration ->Commands List it is still the old commands.txt file which is opened (sits in the Skins folder - why?). Desga has made (and updated recently) a commands.html, which is more comprehensive, better readable, well ordered. That one should be installed by default, IMO. Apart from including the file and tweaking the installation r

Hi, forget autohotkey for that one! as we say in german: "Probieren geht über Studieren" - translate as, maybe, "better try & err than toil & study." Go to Edit -> Configuration -> Accelerators Type: VK_SCROLL = ID_AUTOSCROLL below all other code. That's it, restart K-M. Pressing the "Scroll" key now gives you the above mentioned

Hi, Tris, found a way for the Autoscroll anchor without MButton. There is a system requirement, though: your keyboard needs to have a "Scroll" key (between the "PrintScreen" and the "Break" keys on my keyboard). Here is the content of an Autohotkey File that remaps the "Scroll" key to the MButton: (paste the code to notepad) #NoTrayIcon Scr
