Ah, now I finally understand why you started using 2 macros for the same task! That's one possiblity yes. Another would be not to use setcmdicon (which sets menu+button), but instead only setbuttonimg (which sets only the button). Or a 3rd possiblity, which my version is currently trying out: showing the disabled icon in the menu instad of the active one (using setcmdicon after each tog

Interesting idea with the wiki, but please let's move this thread to extensions forum anyway. Attaching files is so much easier than going over wiki first. We can still update the wiki additionally, if you prefer it to tools like examdiff. Have uploaded version 0.6 now. (am afraid the wiki won't help much for 06, too much changed :cool - Added another menu option to show the butt

Sounds like something that needs permission for DOM storage (check in about:config page), perhaps you blocked that accidentally? Or blocked something else. Or wrong useragent? Cookies blocked?

Try to turn off the password manager: Edit > Preferences (F2) > Privacy & Security > (NOT) Remember Login Data Hmm... and there's also a new setting somewhere for Form Data...

Brilliant idea! Setting the accel to "" ! Always assumed the only alternative would be to set the accel to do null, expecting KM to do nothing at all anymore. But "" really seems to unregister the shortcut again, a break-through idea for me Also very interesting that even with that shortcut active, toggling buttons and highlighting text etc. all still seems to work, so far

Go to page "about:config" and filter for the hidden setting layout.css.devPixelsPerPx It's not about setting a specific screen resolution, but it does zoom the resolution by changing the dpi-value of your screen. As result the servers get reported a different screen size. -1 = automatic = the zoom you have set for your general windows system (font size dpi) 1 = normal = 1:1

That's why the first thing I do with a notebook is getting a mouse for it  It's just so much handier! And using it only at home anyway. On the street it would be another thing of course. But did you try to emulate a middle-click? For example I have a synaptics touchpad, and that offers a bunch of settings. On the buttons/keys tab for example it's possible to define the le

Cool @Dorian: Have yet another (teeny tiny) request: Please consider updating those default settings to todays users majority habits? And I still think too it's you who misunderstands But doesn't matter, because still don't know anyway how and if it could be done at all, on the mouse side. At least that would require dev-skills, and personally am just a user like you, just more experienced with macros and where to find some settings. Keep in mind that my view doesn't count any more than yours, and more s

Forgot to mention, there's also a function urldecode($LinkURL), that converts a lot more signs. Maybe too much, but as always, trial error and console...

Just picking the part I can help with, luckily the easiest one ;-) LPAddLogin{ menugrayed=(index($URL,$_LPLoginoff)==-1); setpref(STRING,$_LastPass.".JSLogin",gsub("%20"," ",$LinkURL)); $_LPType=_("Login"); &LPAlertJS; } About the cpu load, does the error console tell anything? That function runs the bookmarklets, so it would be required to p

A classic spam or malware mail? But don't understand, what does the forum have to do with your mail accounts? The member adresses are already hidden by default here to make it address collectors more difficult.

QuoteVoltaireBut how to make the opened bookmark/favourite open so that it directly opens it (in the foreground)? *confused*... By using the same settings menu? (Bookmarks > Options) QuoteVoltaireBtw: I prefer a setting so that when you left-click a bookmark/favourite it directly opens in foreground and if you right-click it it opens in background (i.e. staying on former tab). That work

As someone who's in the habit of opening 95% of links in a new tab, by simply using middle-click instead of left-click, I find this method by far the best and most simple already  Also much more flexible than needing to first change some switch for the few exception links. http://kmeleonbrowser.org/wiki/faq#mouseaccels But aside from that, don't know if changing left-click w

sessions.json has some serious encoding bug: it can only read and write ANSI (=West-Europe). For testing am usually taking the readme-files in RU+CN. Have edited them in Notepad to copy some exotic characters into the title. Opening them in the browser, then storing that session manually. At first it looks normal, and that session appears added in the menu. But after restarting the whole s

In general, what I'm badly missing since many years is just one fix variable that is able to pass long and complicated strings between JS and macro back and forth! It could have a fix name, like $EXCHANGE or whatever. And it should be considered a "string" by JS too. So far injectJS often can not return anything (KM1.5, 1.7, 74) or only very short strings (4kB~half a screen page)

Actually they say that "utf-8" shall now be the preferred method and "UTF-8" outdated. But anyway, it's only a prob for macrolanguage, not for normal page display or most pages would crash ;-) Regaring that security message with "document.write", it has something to do with that "same-origin" thing, but that's slightly over my head (as usual):

QuoteDorianI know, see the changes I had to do for the reload and pageinfo macros. InjectJS is supposed to work like bookmarklet, but bookmarklet seems to work better, so maybe something is missing. Okay thanks, so at least there's still hope for a future fix. Meanwhile after LOTS of trial and error figured out: innerHtml isn't the culprit at all, only "document.open()"

Glad you figured it out Had trouble with that one too in the past, and related with maps as well! PS: that setting has a GUI, perhaps you did change it there and forgot again? F2 > Javascript > Content Manipulation "Disallow scripts to change images" =dom.disable_image_src_set

Still about to finish my neverending current monster macro, at 99%... and now finally realizing: Could it be that KM76 doesn't allow anymore to catch the source code of a displayed page by injectsjs...innerHTML? The console reports something about not allowed due to security or such (this macro needs to read the stored sessions somehow, and pass it back-forth to JS, so far works fine in

The empty one is the user config file, with how-to examples in it. The long default one is in K-M/browser/defaults/settings/menus.cfg A simple file-search in windows for "menus.cfg" finds it too

As far as I know XPI-addons appear in page "about:addons" like in FF, although there's no way to it via menu yet. Just type it. In general xpi-fils get located in K-M/browser/extensions/{gibberish}.xpi Out-of-box the native included one is NewsFox. Some come with more files in other folders too. If unclear, download the addon into a folder again and unzip it for examination,
