My guess: until 1.5 Perfernces panel has had more "rights" than Advanced Prefs. K-Meleon buffered the values of certain and only Preferences could manage them. Some dialoges in 1.1 seem already prepared for 1.5 but they are grayed because they are still manged via the older Prefernces dialoges.

The version nr. is AFAIK set by necko.dll - and its mainly gklayout.dll and such that we need to update. And this was IMHO done. One or the other update should suffice until an official update comes. Hi Hanem Khater - To write mail with old Yahoo mail You need active Java Script. Any K-Meleon browser with default settings is capable to use old Yahoo web mail. New Mail is offered to You when You use K-Meleon with the updated User Agent String. Else You could use a new Firefox I do not know the needed settings an requirements for other browsers.
