Just tested on a 1.5.3 I had and didn't get those errors with the ABP prefs window, nor the problem with the toolbar line. Not sure why it barked in my 1.5.4. Did find that pesky missing semicolon at the end of line 70 though.

Tried it out on KMv1.5.4 that I'm using to test one of my macros. Couple problems: Line 77 causes problems with the toolbars list under View - Toolbars. Changing it to: pluginmsg(toolbars,"AddButton","Adblock Plus,adblockplus,macros("."adblockplus_tog"."),"."Adblock Plus".",".$abptip.",16,16,"."adblockplus.bmp

Quotetimtak I have installed Search+ but I am not seeing a way of finding (jumping to) the web-searched term in the search results, without retyping it. Is there a way? No. It has the auto-highlight function, but not the auto Find-in-page feature. I'll see if I can add that option in seamlessly in the next day or 2.

Quotekmeleon_user well, i'm messing around trying to learn macros, and wanted to edit this one. my changes DO NOT AFFECT the operation of this macro at all. If i delete the macro from the macros folder, it is gone, but if i edit it to look like: # K-Meleon Macros (http://kmeleon.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php?id=MacroLanguage) # ---------- BugMeNot ------------------------------------

QuoteJackPots Re: Toolbar border Thanks for the response. I did as suggested. The result is as follows: http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=29w1r8n&s=6 No success as yet. Do you have any other suggestions? JP The toolbars_line pref which hides the lines when set to false only works with SOME Windows themes/VS's when the toolbar background is enabled, not all, mainly the Windows cla

Quotetimtak kmextensions is merely an example. Many other search terms also result in websites other than google it seems. Make sure that the keyword autosearch search engine is Google or Google 100, NOT Google Browse by name or I'm Feeling Lucky. If you choose just Google, the standard search page comes up, not the first discovered site. I just tested it with the term "kmext

For these 2 particular prefs, not really, not that I know of anyway. Sort of buried in forum postings and beta pages.

Go to Edit - Configuration - Browser Configuration and add one or both of the following BOOLEAN prefs by right-clicking: kmeleon.display.toolbars_line Set to false. Hides the lines. kmeleon.display.lockedToolbarAlt Set to true. Fixes the spacing issue.

Yes, KM is dependent on Windows for those elements. There is no config file or setting within KM for them. You could also alter the VS you're using, specifically the borders. Display Properties - Appearance - Advanced - Active/Inactive Window Border. Then save as a new theme.

Dependent on your Windows theme. If you're on XP try one of these themes/visual styles: EX2008 I find this one the most usable. iQUANTUM Links to patch your windows XP with a replacement uxtheme file are on this page. Concave TypeZero

Quotetimtak sometimes entering keywords in the URL bar does not work. E.g. I entered kmextensions into the url bar and was taken to a place selling hair extensions. At least with the search bar I can be sure I will go to google. F2(Preferences) - Browsing - Finding Websites - Keyword Autosearch - Search Engine. Choose Google. Quotetimtak I like the fact that one can type, or use CTRL F,

Quotesiria 1.) Icons for Find in Page: I couldn't believe it, but after verifying am shocked to find it's true - in the default skins are no Find-in-Page-Icons! Not just hidden, but not at all in the toolbars.cfg :O No reference in toolbars.cfg is needed. Panoramas findhot.bmp & findcold.bmp in the skin folder are what's needed for the Find-In-Page bar at the bottom. T

Quotesiria Hi Tim, welcome to our favorite browser, glad you like it too QuotetimtakIn Maxthon if you selected a piece of text and then drag it just a little, then the text is automatically sent to your search engine of choice. There's no "flicker" that I know of, but perhaps a "normal" mouse gesture suffices too...? Tools > Mouse Gestures > Manage actions

Quotetimtak The amalgamation of url input and search input is a nice idea but, there are a couple of things I miss about a search bar: Icons for Search in Page The google search bar, and other search bars, show a list of searched words to the right of the entry box, that can be clicked to search in the page, and or highlighted. Enter to Search One can type and press enter, rather than ty

Quotesiria Am in the train of sorting the macro library a bit, and found that by far most of the web services are sorted with "newest on top". So I sticked to that. Now I notice that the "General" macros are mostly sorted "oldest on top". Oh well. Do you get furious if I sort them all "newest on top"? It somehow makes more sense... No objections to newes

Minor suggestion for the next time you update this very handy extension if ever. When favoriting a link, the suggested name of the favorite is the current page's title. Since many links are external to the site, the link title or at least the domain of the link target seem to be better choices.

Quotesiria YIKES :O :O :O Thankgod I don't use bookmarks, and Favorites work fine or I'd have been lost *sweating* Just hurried to back them up now... But that would be a real killer bug :O Perhaps some of the people were actually right, who missed their bookmarks?? Not as dire as it may seem since a backup copy of the referenced file is automatically created in the same folder, but

Tried to use another bookmarks file by using the browse to file option in preferences. After locating & choosing it, the correct path appears, but after a restart it's not detected in the UI in the main menu under Bookmarks. It appears to be reading a blank file even though the correct path is in preferences. At this point, if no new bookmarks have been added to this mystery blank file t

Strange. Tested w/1.6a & 1.7a using default UA and no problems w/Peacekeeper. Didn't test w/1.5.x because I don't use it anymore. 1.6a is just as stable for me. WinXP SP3

I know what you meant. Peacekeeper works on KM 1.6 & 1.7 for me. Went through the test and everything. Interestingly, 1.7a got a higher score than 1.6a, so I'm guessing it's gecko related since 1.7a uses 1.9.2. The graphics(space flight) portion was noticably smoother in 1.7a on my PC.

QuoteFred P.S. The parts forming an URL have again been shown as links in the forum. Put in the correct URL of the link at the places, where they should be. It's a nuisance that code can not be correctly shown anymore, as the code tags don't work anymore. I hope you understand how to do it nevertheless. Quotendebord Yauba??? How would you load that one up in KM? The search string is visible in the URL bar after performing a search. Just copy and paste(minus the search term) to search engines in preferences. Then add it under the Web Search tab as usual.
