No, clearing or editing history partially does not exist for K-Meleon at the moment. If You use a special profile You can only set the privacy plugin not to clear history. You would then clear histroy on demand via the button on history bar. Tools > Privacy > Settings > will give You access to details of Privacy plugin. CCF versions use a prototype of the K-Meleon.exe that uses tabs not layers. CCF versions use Lua macro kplugin for much of their functionality. Other K-Meleons use another maco kplugin for much of their functionality. ALL ME versions have almost no chrome (and cannot use chrome extensions). Greetings To CN from DE p. s. Good, if You manged to get it working. Here the XUL shows - but throws errors I have not found why. And after an error the XUL stops to work I will try to replace it with an older XUL that I have altered myself. I overwrote my own with alain's extension because that has better K-Meleon macros and newer XUL (but I think I have a backup). At the moment I use NoScript jar from K-Meleon

@ Mig, Thx for the reminder/info mfG guenter p. s. The code snippets I posted are K-Meleon native code. They are the native callers for XUL objects. They are shapped in the same fashion as those that point at the before-mentioned errors or incompatibilties. My callers do not alter DownloadHelper in any way but call up its XUL functions. BTW. I did not intend to fix errors/incompatibilties

No; K-Meleon does not have that plugin/Extension. But K-Meleon can easily start with another profile; And this could give You a similar functionallity as the Firefox extension. You would create a profile that has similar settings as the portable versions by alain and Douglas, or use the portable installed somewhere separatly as the base (that is how I would do it ). Orbit downloader will work with K-Meleon. It has a function grab++ that does work with K-Meleon. It sniffs out musik and/or video that You can download with the download functionality. A K-Meleon extension that improved handling with K-Meleon exists. - I download videos and mp3 from myspace with Orbit. p. s. Copy bookmarks.html from Your Ffox profile to Your k-meleon profile. That is what i would do. ( they are both using the same basic system / file type to store bookmarks - there are several other methods but this IMHO the most convenient and safest).
