Maybe you can provide a link with a clip that doesn't work so one can test.

Make sure that cookies are enabled and dom.storage.enabled is set to true in about:config. With the above settings I can watch their clips in K-Meleon 76RC. As a reward Dailymotion will bless you with a shitload of cookies and will write to the browser's persistent storage.

This is not a K-Meleon bug! Firefox 38 on which K-Meleon 76 RC is based on, isn't supported by Blockchain. Hence it gets blocked. Change K-Meleon's UserAgent to Firefox 45 or higher.

Mozilla added support for TLS 1.3 in Firefox 49. It is enabled by default since v52. In latest FirefoxESR 52.2.0, TLS 1.3 is still not enabled by default. I'm afraid that a K-Meleon based on a newer Gecko engine would be the only solution.

QuoteMicrosoft has been adamant about cutting off users when a version of Windows exhausts its 10-year support lifespan. It was rather a PR action of MS in an attempt to put them in a favorable light. Tricking users into upgrades to their newest OS which one has no control over did once again put the company in a shady light. This PR action was meant to appease its angry and disillusioned custo

It doesn't work for me with 75.1. As for prefs, I have set them identic in both 75.1 and 76. Whatever, maybe I'm missing something. Videos on YouTube are playing nice for me in 76 as they do in 75.1.

Off Topic Quotefoliator Interesting! I tried 76 RC a while back before I became aware of The Guardian... The Guardian was among my bookmarks till its ownership and direction changed. Since I've replaced it with off-guardian.

Quotefoliator Can anyone tell me why most of the images on The Guardian's home page - https://www.theguardian.com/international - are missing in K-Meleon? Works with K-Meleon 76.

Quoteluk3ZI think you mean ua.js. You can name that file as you like. Pokemon.js will work as well. I suggested UserAgents.js so one can't forget what that file is good for. Quoteluk3Z...and yes we can easily change user agent string in Tools menu. Even easier, instead of Tools menu, you use forthright the UserAgent button (right-click).

Quoterodocop I have one EEE PC with 512 Mb RAM and Celeron CPU - KM starts there in just few seconds. My main point was that 512 MB of RAM are definitively spare. I can't imagine how it could offer even a half decent surfing experience nowadays. While not great, a Celeron 1.70 GHz should still do the job with WinXP. As for a browser start, it shouldn't take longer than a few secon

Quoterodocop svchost is responsible for multiple system services - from Windows Update to some hardware related once. There are more svchost.exe. AFAIK not all of them are mandatory. < http://www.majorgeeks.com/content/page/black_vipers_services_configuration.html > or direct to the source < http://www.blackviper.com/category/guides/service-configurations/ > Aside of the OS, I

Quotesiria I finally killed that "local" process... Finally figured out, the prob was that it was search-indexing all the time everything it got into its greedy access fingers... I assume that you mean the Indexing Service. How to turn it off.

Quoteaimfiend Is there any working UA macro or extension? i searched all forum and tried UA2 macro , neither working nor perfect... "How to" for UA switching was explained for several times on these forums, last time by Guenter if I recall exactly. Whether you'll find the solution perfect or not is another matter. 1. - make sure that "useragent" and " useragent

QuoteJohnHell Really hundreds of MB? with the direct link above it is only 5.5MB Above 200 to be more precise. It's not a problem for me since I have 8GB at disposal but nevertheless it's impertinent.

QuoteMala OkehSince recently the fullscreen option on reddit videos doesn't work anymore. The fullscreen doesn't show a whole screen but only one half (the left one). That's exactly how latest FirefoxESR 45.9.0 behaves so it's definitively not a K-Meleon bug.

I don`t think this belongs to the "Bugs"-forum. No problem switching to the large gif format (1920x800px) with both K-Meleon 75.1 and 76RC2. ------------- That crappy gif needs more than 20 seconds to load, even with my quad-core CPU and eats a few hundreds of MBs.

I was referring only to localStorage but you are right. There are a few sites which are refusing to work with indexedDB disabled. GoogleDrive comes to my mind. (Grrr, rotten Google)

QuoteJohnHellI told all this in the forum a few years ago. I think... I probably missed it. There were times when KM seemed to be dead and I rarely visited the forum. Thanks for the precious info! QuoteJohnHellMaybe someone now tests it and say, "no, there is no need of index.sqlite" either. What I can tell you for sure is that localStorage doesn't need an offline cache fol

Yes, it's about DOMstorage. There are tools you can use with K-Meleon for exploring and deleting the content of LocalStorage. That's not the problem. However the most convenient way (and that's what I meant) would be that no data should be written to the HD in the first place. During private browsing a temporary database for LocalStorage will be created. Once you close the windo

QuoterodocopI have already the prototype of extension, clearing the storages on every restart. This sounds like a reasonable remedy. QuoterodocopAnd one of the planned tasks is to create 'K-MeleoNoia' privaci-oriented assembly. You could also make average users aware of the fact that best privacy settings can have negative impact on best security settings and vice versa.

I can't tell when or if Dorian will have time to update the Gecko engine. Just in case he will, I'd like to see the private browsing feature implemented in K-Meleon. All advises given by senior members so far, how to trim K-Meleon for private browsing are IMHO deficient. For better understanding, I'll give just a single example: persistent storage. While it's possible to

QuoteJohnHell I think I found the misunderstanding. You mean in pages like here, for example, where, I guess, you can control the webcam, or something: http://www.earthcam.com/world/ireland/dublin/?cam=templebar And we all meant the front page, were all videos can be seen: http://www.earthcam.com/ Hallelujah, mystery solved. Indeed this doesn't work, neither with KM 75.1 nor with

You are on Win7. So am I. I can't see any reason why "earthcam.com" would work (with Flash plugin enabled) for me and other people but not for you and your friend. Only thing I can think of are some settings at your end hindering the execution of the plugin or that of scripting. Therefore you could try testing with a new profile and with no addons/extensions - preferable with a n

If it works with other browsers, routing definitively can't be the problem. Sorry, I've overlooked in your first post that it works with other browsers. I've retested with KM 75.1, KM 76RC2 and FirefoxESR 45.8.0. All of them are working fine but only with Flash. If I disable Flash none of them are working. So K-Meleon should work for you with Flash enabled. As for HTML5, "e

I'm not the right person for help, since I'm not a hardware geek. AFAIK you can't increase RAM arbitrary if your motherbord/chipset doesn't support it. Make sure first how much max RAM your motherbord/chipset is designed to support.

Quotefoliator Now it seems like there must be some sort of regional routing problem preventing the site from loading properly. A quite probable scenario. Besides IMHO "cloudflare" isn't a reliable routing service.
