QuoteeDOC786 In C:\Documents and Settings\Vaio\Local Settings\Application Data\K-Meleon I see..........surumwm9.default, fwkaq2cz.default. Looks like there are two profiles there. In order to see which one is being used, do this.QuoteThe file should be saved in your user macro folder. To find that folder from within KM you can use EDIT - CONFIGURATION - USER DEFINED MACROS. You must run the macro once you have it in KM. If it is there, then when you have KM running, you should see a menu entry under the help menu. That item will be "Set up prefs". Click that and the macro will run. You will get one prompt to set the title for KM. I always add to "K-Meleon" the version number so I can identify which copy I am running. After you answer the pr

Default accel keys can be found here. http://two.xthost.info/kmeleon/lizard/commands.html#l_defaccel I don't think I saw a VK_F10 listed.

@ eDOC786 The file should have the name "KM_Setup_Prefs.kmm". In notepad use "save as" and put KM_Setup_Prefs.kmm in the name field. In the "save as type" field use the dropdown to choose "all files". The file should be saved in your user macro folder. To find that folder from within KM you can use EDIT - CONFIGURATION - USER DEFINED MACROS. The

@ Vanex I cannot make your first item happen. One tab only closes the tab bar for me. For bookmarks you can go to EDIT - PREFERENCES - NETSCAPE BOOKMARKS and remove the check mark at the top of the panel. When you next restart KM the bookmark plugin will not run and bookmarks will be gone.

I went to that site using 1.5.2 and 1.5.3 and clicked on one item image which opened another page. It looked the same both times. Not sure where you got to on the site that caused the problem.

@ Michael I am not sure I understand your question. What kind of changes did you undo with a right click? Was it a change to K-Meleon itself or to some information on a web form or text box?

Save the file with a kmm extension and copy it to your user macro folder. When you run KM next, an entry will appear under the help menu. Click on that entry so the macro will run. Then stop and restart KM. Everything can be un-done. Note that these are my personal choices. When you restart you will have the Klassic skin and my choice of homepage and all my personal choices. If you want

desga2 is right. Everything that KM_Setup_Prefs.kmm sets up is in the prefs.js file in my profile. It is just that I like to test a new version from a set starting point and there may be many other things in my current profile. I may not always 'clean up' well from testing and trying things. I just need a known starting point when I set up a new version. Later I copy, with KM shut

There is a trick that I do when I set up a new copy/version of KM. I have a macro which has most of the basic prefs that I could change using Preferences. This is just faster. I just run it once. KM_Setup_Prefs.kmm ### ### Run once on new install to set some prefs ### ### ### _KM_Setup_Prefs_Run { $_KM_Setup_PrefsTitle = prompt( "Enter the KM version", "Set KM

I am too lazy to take IE off my computer. My only browser in use is K-Meleon. I have 1.1.6 for testing and 1.5.2 and 1.5.3 for general use. I have found no problems with 1.5.3 so I will likely remove 1.5.2 soon.

@ eDOC786 Best place to start is with menu item EDIT - PREFERENCES. There are a great many items you can set from the panels there.

Quotecrabboy Okay. I installed 1.5.3 over 1.5.2 and now flashblock works, but only sometimes. How can I fix this? Does flashblock fail on the same page each time or random? Can you post here the URLs of pages that fail.

Maybe they are using javascript to call the reload. Try going to their page with javascript turned off. Look under TOOLS - PRIVACY to block javascript. If that works, there is a policy mgr system that can make it automatic. Please report back on whether javascript on/off works.

Just thought I would ask if anyone had errors using either of the macro/programs that I posted. One uses SavePage.exe and the other uses gmht.exe.

Quotedisrupted so i need to know if it's possible to make kmeleon save a page(complete) from the command line This command id is closest thing, but it opens the dialog which requires user action. ID_FILE_SAVE_AS Open the 'Save as ...' dialog. There may be something else, but I have not found it.

I did a save of the page and had no errors. Does your error come during the save or the display in IE? I think it just as easy to pull the power plug on the Linksys network hub as to do a software disable of the card, but thanks for that effort.

Quotedisrupted i have no idea why it doesn't work on some systems.. but it seems to be related with the sit's url. if the url doesn't have www, the mht call fails and the error comes up. the 'www' could be easily added to the parameter inside the script if it's non-existent from the address but this can cause more problems. I did this thread's page which doe

If you have a favorite HTML editor, you can put the path to it in the field and put a check in the box. Then if you wish to see the source code for the page it will display using your editor. Right click on a page and choose Page Properties - Source Code.

@ disrupted Line 75 is the call from vbs to execute gmht.exe. Set oExec = WshShell.Exec(strAwasuProgDir & strGMHTExe & " " & strURL & " 0") The "strAwasuProgDir & strGMHTExe" is the path to the exe file. What is passed seems to be a space, the URL, a space and a 0. It is working for me with the gmht.exe in the tools folder. I get no

@ disrupted Change line 62 of the vbs file to read as follows: strAwasuProgDir = WshShell.CurrentDirectory & "\tools\" Put the gmht.exe file in the tools folder under k-meleon. I renamed the vbs file as SaveASMHT.vbs in my user macro folder. Use the following macro: Awasu_mht.kmm # K-Meleon Macros (http://kmeleon.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php?id=MacroLanguage) #

Regarding the original testing of mht-cbtest.exe, I have noticed that not all the information for this page is saved. http://www.perigee.net/~jmd8421r/ If I stop internet service and view the mht file I don't see the folder and slide margins for each picture. If the service is running then they are displayed. This is the same for SavePage and mht-cbtest.

@ disrupted I am trying to get the vbscript running, but I don't think I understand it very well. I have put the gmht.exe file in C:\Documents and Settings\Compaq_Owner. I have put the vbs file in my user macro folder. When I execute wscript.exe and pass the vbs file to it, I get the following error message. Error: "C:\Program Files\k-meleon\gmht.exe" does not exist in

@ soccerfan Yes, I have noticed some incomplete pages. Only valid test is to erase the IE cache and disconnect from internet to display the mht file. I am going to test same pages with both systems and compare.

I could not find the program noted in the vbscript. I did find this one on the net at http://www.softpedia.com/get/Internet/Other-Internet-Related/Command-Line-URL-To-MHT-Converter.shtml . I wrote a small macro to use it. Unzip the SavePage program to your KM Tools folder. The output is placed in C:\. savepagemht.kmm # K-Meleon Macros (http://kmeleon.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php?i
