guenter, I think the reason is that new mimetypes.rdf which goes to defaults doesn't update one in existing profile - changes are seen only in new profile. User needs to manually replace existing mimetypes.rdf.

Are you sure? I've made many tests - and simple replacing your mimetypes.rdf (in your profile) with one from the extension - leads to list being populated after KM-restart. Or replace mimetypes.rdf in browser\defaults\profile and create new profile after that. List should be populated there.

Made some investigation about Flashblock. 1) FB itself is abandoned extension - I think because of introduction of click-to-play feature (FF built-in) 2) Last 'official' version supported by author is 1.5.17 (used in KM also) - and it's outdated and addressed for FF 4.0-22.0 only (I think it's quite good for FF24 - KM74 too) 3) There is slightly renewed version 1.5.18

Adding Vimeo to flashblock whitelist doesn't work. Being precise, video gets the sound but neither you can watch the picture nor the flashblock button disappear.

I made a repack of this great tool, provided by JujuLand. 1) rvjmimeedit.kmm replaced with the siria's macro MimeEditRVJ.kmm 2) Changed mimetype.html file to much more informative and interactive 'Media Types'-page Thanks to all who was involved into development.
