I've some remarks to do: 1) the menu place would be better under tools with Privacy, Connection, ... (see Noscript for example) 2) I think that all the variables names and values ought to be in english, so the maximum of people will be able to understand it. 3) All the strings in kmm ougth to be translatable with _() function. 4) you ought to use menuchecked() instead of boxes

If it opens something, what does it opens ? Previous link, or something else? look at Extension properties: Explorer > Tools > Folder Options > File Types > HTML > Advanced > open > Edit and verify that 'Use DDE' is unchecked. A+

I don't modify macro.cfg et menu.cfg. I just add macros in macros folder (wxDownload.kmm, FreshDown.kmm, Wackget.kmm or Orbit.kmm) and downloadWith.kmm This new macro system allows to modify menus, toolbars and add functionnalities without touching to the default macros system. @Mala okeh, yes, I have forgotten noscript.js in default/pref, but it seems not to be necessary, as it works. @all, as guenter says, the scripts aren't here to install the extensions but just to give the script as examples. They obviously don't delete dat files in components folder, for example. A+

Setup added A trick, as for some netscape plugins, Orbit plugins (installed in Program Files\OrbitDownloader\addons) and called nporbit.dll must be copied in k-meleon plugins folder.
