Something with your installation. I have DOZENS of KM instances installed (portable as well as at least one fully installed) - and I never had such a behaviour. Check your installations, access rights etc. What is your OS?

Updated this old good extension - now it supports UTF editing (old version pasted a gibberish instead cyrillics for example). AutoIt part still has some problems with non-latin text - sometime it inserts 'av' instead the edited text (it ignores '^' for 'Ctrl'-modifier in these cases and I cannot find the reason). But you always can press CTRL+A,C by yourself he

Your fix, siria, works fine, (big thanks again!) so I've updated the macro and the both packages. Lite one is attached again here and 'PlusPocket' package is available by the link given earlier.

Cannot say more than I've updated firmware for several routers (or ADSL-modems) without any problem. How do you connect to your Cisco? IP-address, etc.?

My KM76b3 doesn't crash here under Win7 x32 75.1 crashes giving 2 out of memory faults for the same script that is reported in console for JamesD. And my Firefox 31 doesn't crash here too. So it was a sort of KM specific error.

Partly fixed LPL and prepared v.2.0 beta for it. Changes: 1) some menu items renamed for better reflecting what they really do now (after changes on LastPass site) 2) 2 builds available - just Lite and Lite+ which has portable Pocket lastpass app (not to confuse with Pocket webapp for storing web-clips) 3) web-addresses changed for current ones 4) when AutoFill is being user set to OFF sta

Tried to analyze errors in console. Now I think the problem is CSS-related as it's common for Gecko and KM in particular. Extra-big CSS are known to cause drastic slowdowns and RAM leaks in KM - as described for russian Livejournal page for example.

The true reason is not the page itself but the Disqus comments module - the crash goes only when it comes to this module load. Old browsers for example do load this page fine and fast - but without comment module at all (K-Meleon 1.6, Opera 12)/ Or cannot load page in whole (KM CCF ME 0.095, QtWeb). Chrome clones load the page successfully. Other Disqus-based comments are loaded smooth

Да, с учетом вектора развития Фокса хорошая банда разработчиков здесь не помешала бы. Можно было бы все имеющиеся косяки пофиксить и сохранить для мира нормальный компактный Gecko-браузер...

try to create new profile (Edit - Manage Profiles) and check there. If it wouldn't work - then you probably has some problem with downloaded file. Try this one - russian KM 75.10 Pro and just switch it to your preferred lang.

when you've run KM Pro for the 1st time - it asked you 2 questions about new finded plugins. Have youy answered 'yes' 2 times? If suddenly not - then press F2 and look under K-Meleon plugins what plugins are off. You should have only 3 off by default: IE Favs, Mouse Gestures and Opera Hotlist.

Other effective approaches to traffic minimization are: 1) content filtering (less connections are established and less data are downloaded) 2) improved caching First could be done in different ways with a number of tools: - filtering DNS servers (OpenDNS, FoolDNS, NortonDNS etc.) It seems to me that FoolDNS is the simpliest one with good filtering out all the scam (ads, trackes, webbugs,

Also you can test the small app from toonel.net - and you have 4 options: 1) free old java-based app v.0.0.50.50 (attached to this post) - needs Java2SE minimal version 1.3.1 (download if you don't have Java installed; otherwise - skip it). Cross-platform. 2) free and slightly newer classic windows app v.0.65 (get installer) Doesn't need Java (contains necessary files inside pa

Are commercial solutions acceptable for you? I know comparatively cheap one named MyProxy - local application which adds options like traffic compression or adfiltering and some privacy protection

brad, I think, VPN-software like Hotspot Shield is exactly what you need for your public wireless connection. You may also try CyberGhost, Psiphon or a number of alternatives

Вот не надо паниковать. Браузер развивается постепенно. Последний релиз был меньше чем полгода назад. Цикл у нас скорее ESRовый, так что все нормально. К тому же не стоит думать, что релизы тут серьезно отличаются от бе

I have discovered, that this could not be the 'pantik's mistake' - autoreload usually doesn't work from the first time. But works fine from the next attempts. Take this post as bugreport, please.

this one works for me. But I've met another Google-glitch: sometime an attempt to open an image search result fails with opening and immediate autoclosing new tab with the linked page or image itself.

Yogi, your report is precisely the same I see around: under x64-systems KM eats more RAM than old Opera and under x32 ones - it has more frugal requirements. ( Is it possible to get your skin config where your personal button images - published earlier - are used?)

Win 7 x86 is the last system where KM is more lightweight than FF (and any other beast) without exceptions. And under Win8 and newer OSes some usage scenarios constantly do show that KM eats more RAM for some reason. Also some issues do appear under Win7 x64

I think it would be the most right way - to create the thread in Extensions subforum for your newly created mod of Greasify and collect there tips, answers and links for useful scripts. There are numerous requests about working Greasemonkey or smth like it for KM - you'd seen it already yourself So be one of us who not only do create some new stuff for KM but also supports users in us

Today I was troubleshooting one respectively old laptop (Dell 1300, Intel Pentium M based). His owner is an old Opera-fan (classic Presto, sure) and time from time he gets new problems with different sites in his Opera. Tonight one of his web-players (embedded from different sites) started to inject new ads which do not show the way to close them and watch the video itself - in Opera only, sur
