As @roytam1 said, KM74g should be the best choice for your needs.

If the choice were only KM74 or KM75.1, I'd clearly vote for 75.1 because:
- it has more bugs fixed (the jump from gecko 1.9.1 to gecko24 was huge, Dorian couldn't fix all at once, that process needed 1-2 years up to KM76. And meanwhile every new gecko versions introduced yet more roadblocks for forkers, but overall KM75.1 was a lot better as 74)
- one of the main goals between KM74....76 was improving support for Firefox-addons (KM74 was the first step, still quite buggy, and even the improved KM-Goanna version is reporting itself to addons as Firefox2!)
- improved macrolanguage in KM75.1, more and simpler commands, for example it can finally create menu-icons and handle local files (but sadly only 76RC2 allowed exchange of longer strings with JS, 32 instead of 4kb, and for reading files 64 instead of 32kb, e.g. userscripts. Guess was last gecko-commit.)
- KM75.1 also supports a completely new system for button creation and handling (but not finished yet, partly buggy, good thing the traditional way still works too)

Hi.

Today i use K-Meleon 75.1 version for the first time because of some problems with other browsers like Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.

Version K-Meleon 75.1 (2015-09-19) using 7-zip extractor works fine, HTML5 is not supported on Youtube.

So i wish to try some other version.

I got some problems with extraction 7z downloaded files like K-Meleon 76.1 on Goanna 3.4.2,
it is impossible to extract file 100%, i got error message: unsupported compression method.

My operating system is Windows XP Professional version 2002.

Any suggestion?

Thank you.

What Service Packs do you have installed?

7z as used in the KM-Goanna downloads possibly will not work in WinXP, but you should have SP3 to have any show of working.

Strange, but whatever, don't start with such an outdated version.
Since 2 years roytam1 creates updates every week (highly unusual for KM ;-) )
This is the current one:
https://o.rthost.win/kmeleon/KM76.2-Goanna-20200118.7z

Have downloaded it just now for a quick unzip-test, and works fine.
Tried also with an old 7-zip version from 2012, also no prob. My system is slightly older as yours too.
Suggestion: check how old your 7-zip version is?

BUT: All KM76 versions need min XP SP3, or at least SP2 with the kernel file from SP3.
Yet older systems need rather heavy Kernel-tweaks too for KM76, but have heard from users on Win2000 and even one with Win98 (lots of heavy tweaks)

By the way the engine in KM-Goanna76 is the same as in NewMoon27. Which was forked from PaleMoon27 awhile back, and the engine is now slightly outdated, especially javascript features etc. Although NM still gets selected updates. But if you need a lot of "modern" sites and functions, NewMoon28 or another of roytam's builds may be worth considering:

Hi.

I solve the problem.
I update the 7-zip with new version 19.00, my old 7-zip was too old version 4.65.

It is OK now.

current site to download latest KM goanna build is still not working for almost 3 days now

why can't roytam1 post his new KM downloads to mirror sites (like github or sourceforge) if the main site does not work?
what has happened to him the past several days?

my frustration is almost reaching a boiling point...

It works perfectly fine here, the first time you told, and now. Might be your ISP or the server blocking you?

Do you have a 404 error, or timeout, or what else?

In the mean time, I uploaded to sendspace, even though, if there is a new build this weekend would become "outdated":

3 days?! Shock. Wasn't aware there can be such serious network probs for some people, so far thought it happens only temporarily sad smiley And it was mentioned that Cloudflare could be involved. But with every report of blocked access I'm now more and more suspecting certain powers have an interest to boycott his browser builds, which wouldn't surprise me at all >-(

I was able to work around the problem earlier today by changing the DNS settings to use the OpenDNS addresses and the o.rths.ml site appears to work thru OpenDNS (and maybe thru Google Public DNS). I can now download the latest KM goanna build with the opendns addresses on my computers and thru my iphone 5s.

so f--k my internet provider's DNS

Even if I continue with the off-topic, let me say, "that, always". ISP's DNSs servers are just in case of "emergency" (when no other one resolves).

If you want to use one that does play fair (without making tricks as Google and others do) use 1.1.1.1, from Cloudflare (probably is the one that bests follow standards and doesn't play dirty, despite they do with the CDN as the IE block exposed above, but with the DNS they do the things right) or one of the OpenNic.org project user managed DNSs.
