I don't think so. As far as I know the toolbar buttons are still limited to using BMP files.

Alain, I don't think this is related to an upgrade; colossus2 mentioned that (s)he didn't want to upgrade to 1.1.3.

colossus2, The problem is that your original post comes out rude. Sure this is an important bug, but so far nobody has been able to come up with a set of steps that can consistently reproduce the bug everywhere. As you said, there were nothing wrong before it happened. That makes fixing the bug much more difficult. If that is not acceptable, well, you're free to use another browser.

If I remember correctly, only the 1.9 branch passes.

The stuff in %WINDIR%\Prefetch is not related to the topic of this thread; it's an operating system feature.

I don't think the author of Adblock Plus frequents this forum. You'd have better luck asking this in the Adblock Plus forum.

Strange, it doesn't run here. The profile directory is created (I did remove the old profile dir) but then it consumes a lot of CPU and doesn't show anything. If I kill it and start again, it shows the session resume dialog but does the same thing afterwards. Edit: If I remove the toolbars plugin it runs. Edit 2: Problem's gone now. No idea why....

Unfortunately, you can't pray for bugs to get fixed magically. You have to report bugs so people can fix them. I've reported the second bug as bug 939; that only took a few minutes. I can't reproduce the first bug. Make sure you select millimetres as the unit.

I suppose you mean the find bar that shows up when you press Ctrl+F? (The "search toolbar" is a different thing.) If you do mean the find bar, then I agree.

Right. Looking at the source, I can't figure out why it doesn't work, but I'll fix that as soon as possible.

There's also Ctrl+PgUp/PgDn if you prefer those.

Hi all, There's a new version of the searchbar plugin at the usual place. [1] The most visible change is that it now has the Firefox-like effect where it shows the search engine name when the textbox is empty. The problem is that the text doesn't immediately update when you change search engines (there's something in K-Meleon CVS that I may be able to use to fix this). Right

QuotekkoCurrently, I'm not sure were the 258 character limit is coming from - from exec() or from the OS. So I'm not sure either whether the magic number is valid for all versions of Windows. It's partly from both. As sensai mentioned, there's a 260-char limit on paths specified by MAX_PATH. The problem is that K-Meleon uses this value as the buffer size, which would only

(Sorry for being offtopic.) Quoteguenterrmn mini (the other skin) gave me the idea for console button Oh, did you update that skin? Even I don't want to use it anymore. :-) Making it was a lot of fun, though. It was a challenge to create a usable skin in 16 colours.

I don't know which version you are using, but at least in 1.1 there already is a New Layer button in one of the toolbars.

That's the intended behaviour. "Yes" is "yes, close all", "No" is "no, just close this layer", and "Cancel" is "oops".

It's surprisingly usable for me. I had expected something like Swift, but it's not. Very pretty, too. I wonder how that happens when the author of Swift says "most bugs in Swift, are from WebKit".

In my earlier post I forgot to mention that I've also tested this, and it didn't crash either. Could very well be a driver problem... I've heard that bad hardware/driver can cause very odd bugs. In my old computer, IE used to consistently freeze whenever I scroll a page--didn't happen in other apps--and every hardware person I asked seemed to blame it on the graphic card dr

Quotekko And please, let somebody confirm your 'bug' next time before posting it to the BTS. We've lots of bug reports like this in the BTS that nobody could ever reproduce. Dunno, in my opinion, getting a 100% reproducible bug is reason enough to file a bug report, so people can confirm the bug or mark it "can't reproduce". The way I see it, the difference

QuoteArual the WyrdA prefetch feature causes a lot of bandwidth suckage, bad for those of us who do not have the fastest connection, and IMHO bad for the Internet in general. *shrug* my 2 cents' worth Agreed. :-) I much prefer Kazehakase's method of using only pages that has already been opened.

This is always reproducible in earlier versions, but seems to have been fixed in 1.1 RC2. Can you try with that version and see if it still happens?
